Today I experienced the profound beauty of equine-assisted therapy at Long Run 🤍
There is something incredibly healing about the silent connection between humans and horses. Their presence mirrors emotions, grounds the nervous system, and creates space for deep reflection without words.

This experience touched me deeply and reminded me how powerful non-verbal connection, safety, and attunement can be in the healing journey 🐎✨

Loneliness doesn’t always look like being alone.
Sometimes it looks like smiling through exhaustion, staying busy to avoid feeling, or believing no one would truly understand.
This Mental Health Week in Canada, the reminder is simple but powerful:
Come Together, Canada.
Healing happens in connection.
In conversations.
In safe spaces.
In being seen without judgment.
A message, a check-in, a shared moment, or simply sitting beside someone can make more difference than we realize.

What happens when the body finally feels safe?
This was not just an event. It was a space to slow down, reconnect, and gently come back to ourselves.

Many people think anxiety is just “worry.”
But it’s more than that—it lives in the body too.
It shows up in your sleep, focus, and emotional reactions.
Anxiety is not just something you think,
it’s something you feel throughout your whole system.

Try this (somatic reset):
Sit or stand and gently press your feet into the ground.
Slowly press your hands together for a few seconds… then release.
Do this 3–4 times, noticing the shift in your body.
This helps your nervous system discharge tension and feel more grounded.

خیلی‌ها فکر می‌کنند اضطراب فقط «نگرانی» است.
اما فراتر از ذهن است و در بدن هم حضور دارد.
‎در خواب، تمرکز و واکنش‌های هیجانی خودش را نشان می‌دهد.
اضطراب فقط فکر نیست،
تجربه‌ای است در تمام سیستم بدن و ذهن.

یک تمرین ساده برای کم کردن اضطراب:
بنشین یا بایست و کف پاهایت را محکم به زمین فشار بده.
دست‌هایت را به‌آرامی به هم فشار بده… چند ثانیه نگه دار… و رها کن.
این کار را ۳–۴ بار تکرار کن و تغییر را در بدنت حس کن.
این تمرین کمک می‌کند تنش از بدن تخلیه شود و حس ثبات برگردد 🤍

But it is more than that. Anxiety also affects the body.
