Some Saturdays are for slowing all the way down. And some look like this. 😂

Outdoor Pilates, fresh air, good energy, and a whole lot of women moving together — with me being reminded that Pilates can humble you just as efficiently outdoors as it does indoors. 🤣

This is one of the things I love about how I approach wellness now.

Movement doesn’t always have to be a structured gym session or something I need to check off a list.

Sometimes it’s trying something different. Being outside. Moving my body. Laughing. Connecting. And letting the day evolve from there.

Because a healthy lifestyle, for me, has to include actually **living my life** too.

And this Saturday? She understood the assignment. 💕😂

What does your ideal Saturday movement look like — gym, walking, Pilates, something outdoors… or absolutely NOTHING? 😂

I've become much more comfortable giving myself time before I answer a request.

Sometimes I genuinely need to look at my week before I know whether I can fit something in. So instead of answering on the spot, I'll say, 'Let me get back to you.'

And if it doesn't fit? I can pass this time and still mean it when I say, 'Keep me in mind for another time.'

That small pause has changed the way I manage my capacity. It lets me make a decision based on what my week actually looks like instead of committing first and figuring out the consequences later.

For me, confidence at work and in life increasingly includes being comfortable enough to take the time I need before I answer.

What's your natural way of buying yourself a little time before you commit?

Intentional living after 40 sometimes just means letting go of the need to protect your plan.

I used to build my whole Saturday around a plan, then defend it like it was under attack — a call, a last-minute invite, an empty morning, all treated like interruptions.

Somewhere in the last few weeks, most of that just started being allowed to happen instead.

Turns out the plan was never the point. The day was.

No big lesson here — just fewer things I’m defending lately.

Save this for the next Saturday you catch yourself protecting a plan instead of living the day.
