Happy New Moon! Here’s your community reading.

Is what you’re looking not here? It seems that way.

Waiting around for someone or something else to make it happen, or deliver it to you, is not likely to bring about good results.

Instead, make some moves - whether that means moving on, making the thing happen for yourself, or finding some way to invite it in.

Don’t keep looking in the same places or languish in disappointment. Accept and adapt, my friends!

Wishing you a soft new moon, Loves.

Last quarter moon community reading:

Are you taking on too much? Can you do less?

Are you not feeling safe to do less? Is there something you need to be careful with, or is it a story?

If you actually feel unsafe, the first thing is absolutely to get yourself safe.

And more likely, you may feel someone is being dishonest in a way that lands a bigger workload on you.

Tend to this as needed. Address it if it’s actually happening, and notice it if it’s an old story you’ve been carrying. Do you create situations for yourself where you take on too much because you’re assuming something about others?

Time to be kinder to yourself, please!

Pace yourself, ask for help, take breaks, get rest. And as for others who may be involved, recognize when to hold others accountable, and when to just protect your energy removing yourself.

Follow for more, and reach out if you want one on one support. 💛✨

It’s the Full Moon Eclipse!

And it’s also time for your annual tarot reading from a canoe in northern Ontario.

This was recorded a little over a week ago.

Since then, some beloved legends have left their bodies, followed by hundreds more after a glacial collapse in Tibet, with thousands still missing.

I’m not sure exactly how to connect that to this reading specifically, nor do I feel like I must make it fit; I include it because it feels right to acknowledge that, on top of so much war and violence and greed that is already so active in the world, surely many a heart is feeling all the more weary after this week.

Sending out so much love to humanity.

So. In this week’s reading, we see a mental struggle that likely comes down to the heart being disregarded in a heavy-feeling decision making process.

If you feel like you must have everything mapped out into the distant future, making an immediate decision is going to feel a whole lot harder.

What if you just consider what is immediately in front of you, and decide whatever it is that you need to decide, based more or less just on that, and trust yourself to adapt and change as needed down the road?

If you don’t make a decision for yourself, eventually it gets made for you.

And remember: let your heart be a part of the conversation too.

It’s not JUST about what’s the most logical; it’s also about what feels right to you, and what you want. (You’re allowed to want things.)

For what it’s worth, there’s the reading for this full moon.

Please be extra gentle with yourself and with each other.

And send out lots of love to Tibet.
And Palestine.
And Sudan.
And Ukraine.
And the Congo.
And this whole beautiful, achy place.

Community reading time!

I recorded this right after a gig, which means you get me in extra chatty mode.

What is confusing you this week? Do you have too many options? Are you starting to fret about something?

And in so doing, are you tipping into some old familiar habits?

And are these also the habits that you are aware of as maybe not so good for you in the long run?

This week’s reading reminds us to be mindful about that.

Be good to yourself by not stressing too much or forcing an answer before you actually have one, and soothing yourself in more intentional, sustainable ways, as often as you can remember to.

Let the haziness be, and don’t do anything drastic. Things will feel clearer and more solid in time.

You’re invited into community connection, a fiercely held and lovingly soft network of care, and fairy magic.

My ritualized offerings of group tarot experiences are full of laughs and tears and hugs and harmonious sounds and flowers and spaciousness.

Please come join me for this very special equinox Group Tarot Ritual.

You will take home a bottle of bespoke fairy medicine that is made just for you, based on your personal tarot card reading.

Fairy medicine is how I think of flower essences: a very safe, innocuous sort of vibrational medicine from the plants that helps us balance our emotions, drop into ourselves more, and relax into the current of our lives with greater ease.

And one will be made JUST FOR YOU to meet you exactly as you are when we meet on Sept 12th, and support and encourage you from that place.

This is the LAST Group Tarot Ritual of this Wheel of the Year series.

More info is available on my website. I would love to see you there.

Happy new moon ECLIPSE!

I have one more community reading for you from the fairy realms of Skye in the Highlands.

And it’s another nudge towards noticing, and pausing to feel gratitude.

Are you being so hard on yourself, with such unrealistic expectations of yourself that you’ve created your own vortex of disregulated distraction, so busy being unkind to yourself that you’re missing all the everyday beauty around you?

Beauty is medicine unto itself. And I suspect it appreciates recognition.

Be kinder to not only yourself but to the whole blessed world around you and notice all the generous, gorgeous abundance that is being freely offered up to you.

Pause.
Look.
Look again.
Savour.
Soften.

Good luck, Loves, and drink deep.

Thanks to the good Earth for all the abundance and richness!

The Lughnasadh Group Tarot Ritual was so beautiful, and I’m grateful to all the brave and gorgeous souls who joined me.

While celebrating the bounty made so generously available to us, I think it’s important to consider how we say thanks; how we give back; how we greet the gift giver.

How do we acknowledge and connect with all the life around us that isn’t human?

How do we show up in the conversation that the landscape is having? Are we even listening?

I want to be a good conversationalist, and a good friend, in not just the human world, but beyond it. And like anything, it takes practice.

Thanks for joining me in this practice.

Happy Lughnasadh 💚

Big thanks to Mara Wright for these pictures! 💛

Last quarter moon community reading!

Rather than pour our focus into what’s next, can you take some space to notice where you are, and the goodness around you that is deserving of more recognition?

Gratitude is the medicine of the week!

By appreciating what we have, and the sweetness and beauty so generously available to us, we stay in the flow of gratitude, which floats us forward towards more beauty and bounty.

It keeps us soft and rich and receptive, and in that flow, somehow we end up where we want to be a little more gracefully, a little lighter, a little fuller.

The work still gets done, and we invite in more magic along the way.

Try to avoid focusing on more more more, or just on what’s next, and be where you are more often. Pause to notice what the world is presenting to you. The beauty you almost overlooked.

You don’t need to chase joy.

Let it enrich you from exactly where you stand.

It’s the week of the full moon and I’ve got another reading from the Isle of Skye for you, but those tricky fairies got involved this time!

They’re really driving home the message to drop into some quiet time, in their mischievous way.

This week, we’re being encouraged to take some intentional rest time for ourselves - to draw within and get quiet, get still, and to be brave about whatever might be there that is awaiting us in that space.

Whatever thoughts you might not want to be alone with - how different might this experience be if you welcomed them in? If you got curious about what they had to say, remembering that they’re just thoughts?

Can you make space for all of yourself?

Let it come up, whatever it is.

And don’t miss out on the opportunity to rest, recoup, and know yourself better, because of your own unhealed patterns.

Consider that maybe discomfort is actually part of the required healing.

Consider that softening is maybe a better protection and way through than bracing.

Just make some space and do what you can handle. This experience is meant to be soft.

Do your best to cultivate some softness here.

Sending love.
