The kids are about to be home full-time… which means the snack budget is about to enter its most expensive season 😅

So here’s my realistic Healthy-ish Trader Joe’s Finds list.

Not perfect foods.
Not diet foods.
Not “only eat this” foods.

Just the staples, snacks, and better swaps I’d actually buy on repeat when I want:

✓ easier lunches
✓ less random grazing
✓ better snack options
✓ simple protein add-ons
✓ quick meals
✓ foods my kids will actually eat
✓ options that don’t make the week feel chaotic

Because healthy eating works better when your fridge, pantry, and freezer are set up for real life.

My rule at Trader Joe’s:

Start with protein.
Add produce.
Choose 2–3 smarter snacks.
Keep easy freezer options on hand.
Don’t let the cart become 90% “fun snacks.”

Healthy-ish is the sweet spot for summer.

Save this before your next grocery run.

The summer grocery list I’d build if I wanted more energy, less bloating, and easier meals:

Not a detox.
Not a punishment.
Not another complicated wellness plan.

Just the staples I’d keep stocked so meals feel easier, blood sugar feels steadier, digestion feels supported, and you’re not standing in the kitchen at 5 p.m. wondering what to make.

My summer grocery formula:

✓ protein anchors
✓ produce that actually gets used
✓ freezer backups
✓ hydration support
✓ smarter snacks
✓ digestion staples
✓ easy BBQ upgrades

Because most women don’t need more random “healthy” food.

They need a cart that actually turns into meals.

A few of my non-negotiables:
eggs, Greek yogurt, wild blueberries, arugula, aloe vera juice, ginger, ACV, electrolytes, wild salmon, grass-fed beef, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and freezer staples for the nights when life gets busy.

Simple food.
Better structure.
Less guessing.

Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll send you my full summer grocery guide.

You can also find my favorite products, bloat support staples, protein ideas, collagen sachets, hydration picks, and easy meal shortcuts.

Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll DM you my full Clean Summer Skin guide with every product linked. 🌞

Most sunscreens at the drugstore are full of ingredients I’d never put on my skin — or my kids’.

So I did the homework for you.

Face sticks that don’t leave you ghost-white. A skin tint with SPF that replaces your foundation.

The serum I reach for after a beach day.

Even the supplement that supports your skin from the inside.

Comment SUMMER and it’s yours. ☀️

Save this one — you’ll want it before your next beach day.

IRON SERIES: PART 3

One of the most common messages I receive is:

“My doctor said my bloodwork was normal, but I still feel exhausted.”

If you’ve been struggling with:

• fatigue
• hair shedding
• brain fog
• dizziness
• poor workout recovery
• feeling cold all the time
• restless legs

it may be worth having a conversation with your healthcare provider about your iron status.

The challenge?

Many women are told their iron is “fine” without understanding what markers were actually tested.

That’s why this post walks through some of the blood markers commonly used to assess iron status and why context matters.

Heavy periods.
Pregnancy.
Postpartum recovery.
Diet.
Training volume.
Digestive health.
Inflammation.

All of these can influence the story your bloodwork is telling.

Iron deficiency is incredibly common, but supplementation isn’t always the answer.

The goal is understanding WHY your iron may be low in the first place.

Save this series for future reference and share it with someone who’s always tired but doesn’t know where to start.

And if you’re ready to focus on the foundations that support energy, digestion, blood sugar balance, cravings, and overall wellness, my 5-Day Reset is now available through the link in my bio. 🤍

You can eat all the spinach, steak, and lentils you want…

…but if your body can’t absorb, recycle, or hold onto iron, your ferritin may stay low.

This is the part most people miss.

Low iron isn’t always about what you’re eating.

Sometimes it’s:

• Heavy menstrual cycles
• Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
• Intense training without enough recovery
• Chronic stress and poor sleep
• Digestive issues affecting absorption
• Low stomach acid
• Frequent blood donation
• Certain medications
• Inflammation
• Genetics

I’ve worked with clients who were taking iron supplements for months and still felt exhausted because nobody was asking why their iron was low in the first place.

If you’re dealing with fatigue, brain fog, hair shedding, poor recovery, dizziness, cold hands and feet, or feeling like you’re running on empty, it’s worth digging deeper.

Iron is rarely just an iron problem.

Part 3 is where I’ll break down the exact blood work to ask your doctor for, the best time to test, and how to get the most accurate picture of what’s actually happening.

Save this post for later and follow along for Part 3.

And if you’re feeling tired, bloated, inflamed, or stuck right now, my 5-Day Reset is officially live. It’s the exact framework I use to help women simplify nutrition, support digestion, stabilize energy, and start feeling better quickly.

IRON SERIES: PART 1

If you’re constantly tired, needing coffee to function, losing more hair than usual, feeling cold all the time, getting winded during workouts, struggling with brain fog, or wondering why your energy isn’t where it should be…

Iron may deserve a closer look.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is women focusing on supplements before looking at the foods that naturally provide the nutrients their bodies need.

The good news?

There are far more iron-rich foods than most people realize.

And some of the best sources aren’t just red meat.

In this post, I’m sharing my favorite iron-rich foods, including both animal and plant-based options, plus the foods that help your body absorb that iron more effectively.

Because getting iron into your diet is only half the battle.

Absorbing it is where the magic happens.

Save this post for your next grocery trip.

Part 2 is coming next and we’re diving into the surprising reasons iron levels can stay low—even when you’re eating the right foods.

For the longest time, I thought discipline was something people either had or they didn’t.

I used to look at people who seemed consistent and assume it came naturally to them.

It doesn’t.

The truth is, most days I don’t feel like doing all the things either.

There are mornings I’d rather stay in bed.
Days when work piles up.
Days when life feels messy.
Days when ordering takeout sounds a whole lot easier than cooking.

But I’ve learned that discipline isn’t about being motivated.

It’s about keeping promises to yourself, especially on the days you don’t feel like it.

Not because anyone is watching.

Not because you’ll see results tomorrow.

But because every small choice is a vote for the person you’re becoming.

A workout.
A walk.
A better breakfast.
Putting your phone down and getting to bed.

None of it feels life-changing in the moment.

But years later, those little choices become the difference between wishing and becoming.

That’s what discipline means to me. 🤍
