Today’s emotional rollercoaster in my menopause journey, I cried during the last episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. 😂😂😂

How to make a dog fallin love with you while pet sitting!
Day 1 was pure defensive barking, but by the end of the long weekend, she wouldn’t leave my side. Building trust with a shy dog or a new pup takes low-pressure energy and time, but the reward is worth it for these cuddles.

Life Lately.

I’m living,
I’m able,
I’m breathing,
I’m grateful.

Words to live by.

Saying “yes” to a party invitation gave me the exact push I needed to cure my gym procrastination!

The guest of honor, Ron, was 30 minutes late to his own 80th birthday party because he was finishing his workout. But what totally blew me away was watching him out on the dance floor...

He was dancing with his grandchildren, so limber, and moving better than people HALF his age! Zero fear of breaking a hip—just pure joy and mobility.

At 55, I’d already started my strength training journey, but my couch-procrastination was still winning way too often. Seeing Ron’s energy was the ultimate wake-up call to get off the couch and get consistent.

Fitness in the second half of life isn’t about vanity—it’s about vitality! I’m lifting to preserve muscle, protect bone density, improve my balance, and ensure I’m still living life to the fullest in my golden years.

Thank you so much for the invitation, and thank you, Ron for the inspiration.

Mentally, I’m not here. Physically, I’m right here and I’m never leaving.

Nothing beats a sunny backyard pool day when you just need to turn off your brain and pretend life is a permanent staycation. If anyone needs me, this is my official location for the rest of the week.

Ollie got winter boots! They stayed on and after wearing them inside first he actually walked like a champion. I have avoided getting boots for him for so long but I think I may have found just what I needed!

Ollie is available for UGC brand collaborations now that he can walk the runway!! 😃

Help me no longer look Ike a raccoon whenever I wear mascara! All mascara recommendations are welcome, but only if they don’t smudge all under my eyes!!

IDGAF: No. 1 upside to menopause.
Hot flashes? Annoying.
Sleep roulette? Rude.

But the sudden disappearance of people-pleasing, over-explaining, and caring what everyone thinks? Elite.

Post-menopause isn’t the end — it’s the upgrade no one explained properly.
More boundaries. Less nonsense.
Same woman, just finally on her own side.

If you’re in perimenopause and wondering if it ever gets better… this part does. Trust me. 😉

The crazy bunch at my New Years Eve celebrations were out of control this year! Happy 2026!

My toxic trait is acting like it is summer just because we finally hit 7 degrees. As a self-proclaimed winter hater, I am officially retiring from the Polar Vortex. This mild winter weather gave me the instant dopamine boost I have been desperate for all month.

If you are loving this break from the freeze and want to manifest more of it, comment MILD below so Mother Nature knows this is the vibe we want.
