🌿 Welcome, Sweet June 🌿

The wheel turns and the wild world is in full bloom. June arrives with the hum of bees, the scent of rose and honeysuckle, and the first whispers of Litha on the breeze.

This is a month of growth, light, and green magic. The herbs are lush, the gardens are speaking, and the sun is climbing higher each day toward the Summer Solstice.

Ways to work with June’s energy:

• Herbal Allies: Tend to your lavender, mugwort, rose, lemon balm, and St. John’s Wort. Harvest in the morning sun for the strongest magic.

• Altar Updates: Add fresh wildflowers, green calcite, moss agate, or a bowl of sun water to honor the season.

• Simple Ritual: Take a sunrise walk barefoot. Leave an offering of oats or herbs to the land spirits and whisper your intentions for the month.

• Kitchen Witch Tip: Brew sun tea with lemon balm + mint under the noon sun. Stir clockwise and speak gratitude into it.

May your June be full of sunlight on your skin, soil under your nails, and quiet moments of wild connection.

What are you calling in this month, witches? 🍃✨

Full moon tonight - the earth is humming. 🌕

The forest is wide awake, the herbs are buzzing on the windowsill, and the cottage feels a little extra alive.

If you need me, I’ll be barefoot in the grass, letting the moonlight do what it does best - settle, soften, and stir the soul. 🌾✨

Not Everything Deserves a Reaction

You’re right — treating your energy like a budget changes everything.

When you stop reacting to every little thing, you’re not being cold or detached. You’re being intentional.

That pause before you jump into drama, small talk, or a debate you didn’t ask for?
That’s where you get your peace back.

Psychologists call it being “socially selective” — it’s linked to self-awareness, stronger boundaries, and way less burnout.

And here’s the paradox: silence often says more than words.
In conflict, a pause de-escalates faster than a comeback. In relationships, quiet moments build trust because you’re actually listening, not just waiting to talk. In a room full of noise, the person who speaks last usually gets heard most.

The hard part is the guilt. We’re wired to fill silence, to smooth things over, to explain ourselves.
But protecting your peace isn’t selfish — it’s how you stay available for the people and conversations that actually matter.

Choosing not to react is a boundary.

And boundaries don’t push people away; they teach people how to treat you.

Curious — what’s one situation lately where you held back a reaction and felt better for it?

🌕 Why the May Flower Moon demands Bold Growth 🌺

The May 2026 Flower Moon is different because it’s not asking you to bloom politely. It’s shoving you toward transformation, whether you feel ready or not.

Why this one demands bold growth instead of gentle renewal:

1. Scorpio energy runs the show

Flower Moons are usually about soft spring blossoms. But this one lands in Scorpio, the sign of death, rebirth, and buried truth. Scorpio doesn’t do subtle. It drags hidden fears, unspoken desires, and stuff you’ve been avoiding right to the surface.

Think of it less like planting seeds and more like tearing out dead roots so something real can grow.

2. Beltane collision

May 1 is also Beltane, the Celtic fire festival. That’s the “wildest night of the year” energy — passion, fertility, unapologetic life force.

Fire + Scorpio water = steam. It’s volatile, intense, and meant to burn away what’s stagnant.
Last time this exact Beltane + full moon overlap happened was 1988. Rare alignments tend to carry bigger energetic weight.

3. Two full moons in one month

May 2026 gives us bookends: a Scorpio Flower Moon on May 1, then another full moon May 31.

Astrologers call that a “portal month.” The first moon cracks you open, the second tests what you actually did with the breakthrough. No coasting.

So what does “bold growth” actually look like?

This moon isn’t about vision boards. It’s about:

• Radical honesty: Scorpio energy demands you confront what’s blocking you — relationships, habits, self-deception.

• Active release: Journaling to get the heavy stuff out of your head, because you can’t transform what you won’t name.

• Embodied action: Beltane is fire. That means doing, not just intending.
Make the call, end the thing, start the project.

Real growth under this moon will feel uncomfortable. That’s the point. Scorpio + Beltane clears the path by burning it first.

Want to actually work with it? Ground yourself in nature to handle the chaos, and balance the shadow work with serious self-love.

Transformation is exhausting.

What part of your life feels like it’s demanding that “explosive emergence” right now?

🔥 The Hidden Fire Hazard in your Aesthetic Botanical Candles 🕯️

Yep, those gorgeous dried marigolds and lavender sprigs look amazing on TikTok, but they’re basically kindling waiting for a spark.

Why botanicals in candles get dangerous:

The National Candle Association tested these and found dried flowers can cause “secondary ignition” — they catch fire separately from the wick and create flame leaps way bigger than your jar is designed for.

One test candle even had a flashover where the entire wax surface ignited within an hour.

Glass can shatter from the heat, and those flames can hit curtains or shelves fast.

If you already own one:

The NCA actually says don’t light it. If you want to keep it as decor, cut the wick off flush with the wax so it can’t be lit accidentally.

Want the botanical look without the risk?

1. Decorate outside the jar — Glue dried flowers to the outside of the container or put them in a separate vase next to the candle. Same aesthetic, zero fire risk.

2. Use wax melts instead — No open flame, so you can safely use dried botanicals for scent and looks.

3. If you’re DIYing — Use an extra-large container, keep botanicals tiny and pinned far from the wick, and never let them float in the melt pool.

General candle safety that matters even more with botanicals:

• Never leave it unattended
• Keep it away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable
• Trim wicks to 1/4 inch before each burn
• Burn in a well-ventilated room

The trend is beautiful, but charred flowers and broken glass aren’t the vibe.
