On Thursday the Salmon River Fire Brigade membership held their annual general meeting for 2025. This was another busy and productive year as a fire service to the community of Salmon River.

This meeting was also our election night for the executive team for 2026.

Our 2026 executive team is as follows:

We had a fantastic few days with Pictou County Forest School. The weather cooperated and provided us rain, snow, and a little bit of sunshine while we managed to treat various injuries in a remote setting. An important recall for those who have been prescribed Emerade auto injectors.

Health Canada is urging people to take their Emerade auto-injectors to their pharmacies as soon as possible to get a replacement.
