I started thinking seriously about blogging in July. I know I had to start planning and goal setting to follow my dreams ✨️
I wanted to blog since Azriel was a new born. He is almost 3 at the end of August. Since I'm on maternity leave with baby Asherah I figured now is the time to start.
Friday morning at Kamloopa pow wow I was up early with my baby's. I decided to enter Kamloops 1 minute Pow Wow Pitch. I seen the advertisement before so it was on the back of my mind. After I registered I was like "oh no what did I get myself into". Before entering this competition I have never done anything like this, public speaking, telling anyone about my dreams and goals of being a blogger and starting my business.
Even though I was scared to death I knew I was taking my first steps in the right direction.
I was also so excited because I get to meet some awesome people and Indigenous entrepreneurs. This opportunity was a big eye opener in teaching me a lot about who I am and what I can accomplish in such a short amount of time. I cant wait to see what I can do in one year with a Free domain name .CA and a 1 year web host from Web Hosting Canada a gift from pow wow pitch for being a contestant. I will be learning about making my website and blogging, starting a business all on my own.
Today I did It. I started. Now to figure it out, how to make my website and start a blog. Being a blogger.
Anyone have any advice, tips, words of encouragement, I'm also looking for a mentor? Thanks 😊
