After working in Canada for 5 years, Jo-Ann accepted a 7 month contract in Kuwait; 9 years later she returned to Canada and made Calgary her home. While overseas, she commenced her M.Sc. in Rehabilitation sciences from McMaster University; completing it in 2012.

In addition to her varied clinical experiences over the years, Jo-Ann has completed extensive training in manual therapy, muscle movement imbalances, mobilization of the nervous system, treatment of chronic pain and the assessment and treatment of occupational injuries. She is certified in Graston techniques as well as certified in Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. As a caring and devoted professional, Jo-Ann provides you with an individualized treatment program aimed at addressing your specific needs.

Jo-Ann has also completed training in Canine Physio. She previously worked at the Canine Fitness Centre in Calgary. While she has taken a leave from this position in order to focus on PhysioWorks, she holds the centre, the people and all the pups near and dear to her heart.

Having recently relocated to PEI, Jo-Ann now tries to get a walk along the beach with her canine companion Ca$h in every morning to start her day. She also enjoys yoga and working in her yard/garden.
