Jericho Road is a community of people that strive to move from addiction to connection through shared experience, strength and hope. We provide recovery programs and support with our men's residential program, community support groups, and addiction education forums and workshops.

Thank you to the Canterbury Community Association and Sequoia Church for another fantastic Movie In The Park! This collaboration brought out over 100 people from the neighbourhood, ready for a good time. Even with a few technical difficulties, the snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn kept smiles on faces. Disney and Pixar's Hoppers was an entertaining and fun movie, but also shared a message near and dear to our hearts.

Everything works out better, when we do it together!

A good time at the Ottawa Titans game with some of our residents, staff and alumni. They got the W, but we keep the memories. For some of our men, this was their very first baseball game and another great experience in recovery. Thank you to our anonymous donor for taking us out to the ol' ball game.

Current Need: Lawnmower, Gas or Electric.

At Jericho Road, we are committed to being good stewards of everything we are blessed with. Currently, we are in need of a lawnmower for our Walkley residences.
Our old lawnmower(s) decided it was time to retire, and with this being a warm and rainy summer, our grass could use more than a trim around the edges.

We are reaching out to our community for a gas or electric lawnmower, new or used, to maintain our adjacent properties.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Knights of Columbus and an anonymous donor for their incredible generosity in helping make some important improvements to our home.

Thanks to their contribution, we now have new front and rear walkways and a new rear exit door, creating a safer, more welcoming, and more accessible space for everyone who lives at or visits our Discipleship House.

These improvements are possible because faithful individuals, churches, organizations, and community partners have chosen to use the gifts God has entrusted to them to bless others.

Thank you to Paul at Reconstruct Pro and Jonathan at Ottawa Interlock Repair for their effort and care in this project. Together, we are building more than walkways and doors. We are giving men new ways to walk forward, and opening doors to fresh opportunities.

Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends, and join us for an evening of community, laughter, and a movie under the stars. There's something special about watching a great film outdoors surrounded by neighbours and friends.

Come early to find the perfect spot, enjoy some snacks before the movie begins, and settle in for an entertaining summer night together.

Our Cake Auction was filled with incredible baking talent, generous hearts, and a whole lot of fun. From beautifully decorated creations to delicious desserts shared with many, every cake helped make a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bid, donated, volunteered, and gave their time. Events like these help make the work of Jericho Road possible and remind us of how many people care about our ministry.

Together, we raised more than just funds for our programs. We raised hope, strengthened connections, and invested in lives being transformed every day.

Thank you for making this year's Cake Auction such a memorable success. We are grateful for each and every one of you!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for this year's edition of our Annual Celebration Meeting. This year's event is sold out and serves as a reminder that this community deeply cares. We feel inspired to share what has passed, what is to come, and break bread with each one of you. The desserts are also being kept cool and under guard from any errant forks... For now...

Nothing says the start of the summer like a BBQ with friends. After a long winter, it is always a blessing to be reunited with people you care about. Thank you to Sequoia Church for vising our D-House, bringing their lovely spirits and breaking bread with all of us.

Getting to enjoy the finer things in life is an important part of recovery. Besides, who doesn't love cake! We are all looking forward to next week's Annual Celebration Meeting and sharing a slice with everyone. Some people (namely Kevin) may enjoy it more than others.
