Alba Wellness Centre I invite you to experience the healing power of Chinese medicine, the most ancient and natural medicine. licensed under CMAAC regulating body for Nova Scotia.

Despite the philosophical and cultural differences, Chinese and Western medicine complement each other perfectly and amazingly. I am Uliana, Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapist and Doctor of Acupuncture (D.Ac.), Registered Acupuncturist (Reg.Ac.) I have experience working with physical and mental health issues such as PTSD, orthopedic, muscular, nervous, endocrine, digestive, respiratory, and immune systems. Acupuncture is a complementary medical practice that entails stimulating certain points on the body, most often with a needle penetrating the skin, to alleviate pain or to help treat various health conditions. Acupuncture treatment stimulates the body's own healing abilities due to working on multiple levels; acupuncture activates blood flow, stimulates the nervous system, strengthens the immune system, improves organ function, calms the mind, and relaxes the body all at the same time. I enjoy helping people and hope to see you soon!

In my acupuncture practice, I use a specific point combination to help reduce post-surgery swelling and numbness. It’s an excellent tool to "reawaken" nerve conduction and improve lymphatic drainage, especially after lower back surgery.
