OUR SHELTER STAFF ARE HELPING SAVE LIVES.

Let's stand behind the people who stand on the front lines.

Over the past several weeks, many community members have reached out asking how they can support the front-line staff responding to the overdose crisis in our shelters.

In just 25 days, our staff have responded to more than 200 overdoses. This is not a statistic for us. This is our daily reality.

Our staff are responding in real timeโ€”administering Naloxone, calling emergency services, managing medical crises, and holding space for life-and-death moments. Then they do it again. And again. And again.

They are showing up through trauma, loss, and exhaustion while continuing to provide safety and care for every person who walks through our doors.

This system is under extreme pressure. So are the people holding it together.Because so many people have asked how they can help, we are launching our Adopt-a-Shift Initiative.

We are inviting local businesses, service clubs, faith groups, families, and community members to show their appreciation through simple, direct support:

โ˜• Coffee or drinks

๐Ÿฅช Meals or snacks

๐Ÿ’Œ Notes of encouragement

๐Ÿช Small food donations or treats

If you would like to support but need a simpler option, cash donations are also accepted, and we will ensure a shift is adopted on your behalf. Each shift has approximately 11โ€“13 staff working at a time.

๐Ÿ’› Sponsors will receive:

โ€ข A visible sign during the shift: "This shift has been adopted by (Your Name/Organization)"

โ€ข Public recognition on our social media channels

To adopt a shift:

๐Ÿ“ž 506-688-2279

๐Ÿ“ง [email protected]

๐Ÿ“ž Main Office: 506-854-3499

Our staff show up every day for people experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and crisis.

Many of you have asked how you can support them. This is one way to make a difference.
