National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada. The Government of Canada chose June 21 in part because it coincides with the summer solstice, a time of cultural significance for many Indigenous communities.
Consider attending a local event, festival, performance, or gathering in your community. Indigenous-led events offer opportunities to gather, learn, connect, and strengthen understanding, respect, and community.

It’s Happening Right in Front of Us.

Gambling is being normalized in everyday moments.

When betting ads are everywhere, gambling starts to feel normal. Talk to your kids and know the signs of addiction.

He's not just scrolling.

Gambling is being normalized in plain sight.

Bright colours. Sports heroes. Betting ads blur the line between play and risk, especially for young people.

Online gambling is a health risk, not entertainment.
Problem gambling is an addiction, and rates are rising, especially among youth.

Last week, we celebrated the coming together of and CMHA Sask Division. Let us tell you why this is huge for us:

• Opportunities for growth, partnership, and collaboration
• Minimizing confusion between the public (two CMHA’s a block away from each other made less sense over the years)
• Sharing a space gives us the ability to reduce costs and remain sustainable

This is so much more than just a change in location. It is a mutual commitment to work together, stronger, for a healthier and more resilient community.

We are now a centralized mental health hub designed to reduce barriers, save money long term, strengthen services, and offer vulnerable people a welcoming and clear place to turn to for support.

We extend our appreciation to everyone who has helped get us here, and of course to and Lori Carr for being with us on that day.

Thank you Regina Branch for welcoming us into your space ♥️
