Overthinking is often a nervous system trying to gain control.

If I think about it enough…
Maybe I won’t get hurt.
Maybe I won’t make the wrong choice.
Maybe I’ll be prepared.

But the truth?
Overthinking doesn’t create certainty — it creates exhaustion.

Sometimes the safest thing you can do is pause, not solve.

Growth can feel uncomfortable—that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

Change often asks us to step outside what’s familiar. Even when the “familiar” wasn’t serving us, it was still predictable… and predictable can feel safe.

So when things start to shift—when you set boundaries, speak up, or choose differently—it can feel unsettling, even if it’s the right direction.

Discomfort doesn’t always mean you’re doing something wrong.
Sometimes it means you’re doing something new and that can be a beautiful thing. Give yourself permission to grow, even when it feels unfamiliar. 🌱 💛

You’re not too much. You’re human.

Somewhere along the way, many people were made to feel like their emotions were “too big,” their needs were “too much,” or that they had to appear “fine” at all times—especially in professional spaces.

But feeling deeply, caring deeply, and needing support doesn’t make you difficult. It makes you human.

Part of the work isn’t becoming less of who you are—it’s learning to accept yourself as you are. To stop shrinking, softening, or silencing parts of yourself just to fit into spaces that were never meant to hold you fully.
