Did you know ... Male veterinarians are 1.6 times more likely to die by su***de. Female vets, a growing majority of the profession, are at even higher risk as they are 2.4 times the risk.
AND, among female vet techs the rate is 2.3 times. Male veterinary technicians are at 5 times the risk.
