If she can pull off an A on one assignment, she should be able to do that across the board.
Well, that has been a longstanding assumption for decades. Assumed as fact by parents and educators alike. The more we know about assessing and remediating executive functioning problems, the more we know that this is not a fact, and definitely not necessarily true. What a student with executive functioning challenges can achieve on a Monday at 10am on an engaging science test is absolutely not what they can achieve on a Thursday night’s humanities essay homework.
It's not comparing apples with apples. It's like comparing apples to earlobes.
