Remembering Shari 🤍
This past Tuesday, we gathered to celebrate the life of Shari, a long-time member of the Avalon community and a treasured friend.
We came together to share food, memories, stories, laughter, and gratitude for the time we were fortunate enough to have with her. Shari touched the lives of so many in our community and will be deeply missed.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to honour her life and celebrate the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
Forever remembered and forever part of our Avalon community. 🤍

We are so grateful to remember our dear Cristull, a former Avalon employee and longtime volunteer who was such a special part of our community.
Before she passed, Cristull wished for her clothes to be donated to the women of Avalon. We are grateful to be able to honour Cristull’s wish and share her beautiful collection with the women of Avalon.
Thank you, Cristull, for thinking of the Avalon women and for leaving behind such a thoughtful gift. Your generosity continues to make a difference in our community. 🤍

Rooted in connection. Growing through recovery.
Located at our White Rock Centre, the Avalon Tree is a reflection of the women who have walked through our doors and the journeys they continue to take, one day at a time.
Each leaf represents a sobriety date. Each one marks a milestone, a new beginning, and the strength it takes to choose recovery.
Like a tree, recovery is always growing. New branches reach outward, new leaves appear, and every season brings its own kind of growth. No two journeys look exactly the same, but together, they become part of something beautiful.
