Most couples spend more time planning their wedding than preparing for their marriage.

We carefully choose the venue, flowers, guest list, and seating chart.

But many couples never have conversations about finances, intimacy, family boundaries, conflict, parenting, or what happens when life gets hard.

Premarital counselling is not about finding problems in your relationship, but about building the skills that help relationships thrive.

It’s a space to have important conversations before resentment, misunderstandings, or unmet expectations have a chance to grow.

The strongest relationships are the ones that know how to navigate challenges together.

Whether you’re newly engaged, planning your wedding, or simply talking about the future, premarital counselling can help you:

✨ Improve communication
✨ Learn healthy conflict resolution
✨ Discuss finances openly
✨ Explore expectations around marriage
✨ Strengthen emotional intimacy
✨ Build a solid foundation for your future together

Because preparing for a marriage is just as important as preparing for a wedding.

If summer makes you want to hide or shrink your body, read this 💛

A bad body image thought can feel so convincing when it shows up and ruin your whole day.

Sometimes, healing can look like doing the things you want despite these thoughts, not getting rid of the thought themselves. Here are some helpful reframes that might help you live your life despite having a bad body image day 💓

Intrusive thoughts after having a baby can feel terrifying, especially when no one talks about them 🤍

Many parents experience sudden, unwanted thoughts about harm coming to their baby. These thoughts can feel graphic, intense, and completely out of character.

This is a common postpartum mental health experience, especially during times of anxiety, hormonal shifts, and sleep deprivation.

Having these thoughts does not mean you will act on them. It often reflects how alert and protective your brain has become.

You are not alone in this, even if it feels that way.

Birth trauma is more common than we talk about, yet many parents feel alone or unsure if their experience “counts.”

If you are replaying your birth, feeling disconnected, or struggling in ways you didn’t expect, this can be a sign of birth trauma 🫶

Birth trauma is not defined by how things looked on the outside. It is about how your body and mind experienced it.

You deserve support, validation, and space to heal.

If this resonates, you are not alone 🤍

Are you worried about the way your body looks with summer approaching? You’re not alone 💕 (NEW blog post up!)

While summer can mean warmer weather, ice cream, and beach days for some, it can also bring anxiety and dread for many. If you’re like me, you’ve been seeing posts about "locking in", "bikini bodies", and "winter arc" all over your social media. Most of these posts promote the idea of yo-yo dieting, focusing on weight, and the idea that certain bodies are "hotter" than others, instead of prioritizing genuine enjoyment and relaxation.

The truth is no amount of weight loss and dieting can guarantee happiness. More often than not, it keeps you stuck in a constant loop of trying to manage how your body looks and constant worrying about your appearance instead of letting you be in the moment and enjoying yourself.

If you’re ready to ditch all that summer and looking forward to cultivating a better relationship with your body, here are some tips to help you enjoy your summer to the fullest. This means eating delicious food, wearing whatever you want, and feeling at home within yourself 🫶

If you’re looking for more professional support with feeling at peace with yourself, reach out to me via the link in my bio for a free consultation call, or read more at my blog 🫶

Postpartum struggles are rarely talked about in South Asian communities.

Many women grow up hearing that motherhood should come naturally and that emotional distress should stay private.

But the reality is that South Asian women can face unique postpartum challenges.

Many South Asian moms experience stigma around mental health, pressure from extended family, expectations to follow cultural traditions even while recovering, and immigration stress.

Research shows that South Asian women may actually experience higher rates of postpartum depression, yet are less likely to seek mental health support because of stigma and cultural barriers.

If you are struggling after having a baby, it does not mean you are failing.

It means you are navigating a huge life transition while carrying cultural expectations that many people around you may not fully understand.

You deserve support that honors both your cultural background and your wellbeing 💛
