One thing that has been a frequent session conversation is discussing the word no. It is an interesting word, since such a short word can create a lot of feelings. But this is so important in understanding ourselves and setting boundaries. Saying no can sound like ‘I can’t take that on right now’ or ‘That doesn’t work for me’. Therapy can help with practicing guilt free boundaries, because for a lot of individuals no to others was not in their vocabulary.
