Hi all, my name is Carly Woolner and I am practicing Therapuetic Massage on Denman Island. I am making this post to explain a bit more about what I offer.

I am a Massage Practitioner trained in therapuetic modalities including Myo-Fascial Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Deep Tissue, Relaxation and more. I have also studied herbal and Chinese medicine and incorporate these modalities into my practice. Herbal and essential oils are a part of most sessions as well as heat therapy.

Clients say that they generally feel lasting relief from chronic and acute pain after a session, as well as increased mobility, relaxation and connection to their bodies.

To make massage more accessible, I have begun to offer a sliding scale model.
Massages are now $80-95 for a 60 minute session.
75 and 90 minute treatments are also available.

I am happy to announce that I am offering massage treatments on Island at Heartwood Acupuncture. My practice incorporates myofascial, deep tissue, craniosacral and relaxation. I may also use essential oils, hot towels and herbal infused oils. Each treatment is unique and is tailored to your individual needs. I have been practicing since 2008, and after a short hiatus, I am recharged and excited to work with you!
I graduated from Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy in 2008, received my Community Herbalist Certificate at Pacific Rim in 2016, and studied Chinese Medicine and Tui Na at Oshio College in 2021.

$85 for new clients and $95 for returning clients.

$60 minimum donation.

A little about me: training includes myo-fascial, craniosacral, deep tissue, and relaxation techniques and am drawing on my current studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have been practicing massage therapy for 13 years now (!?) and aim to offer affordable treatments to all.

We will be using medicinal herbal oils, and essential oils.
Massage helps with both physical and mental stress.
