We had a far-out time joining Cogir’s 1970s Live To The Fullest Festival! 🎶✌️
At Westwood, we hosted our very own ’70s Theme Week, filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of retro vibes. Our staff and residents went all out, dressing up in iconic fashions from the decade—from bell bottoms to tie-dye!
The highlights included our Hippie Hamburger Lunch, a series of Groovy Movies, and, of course, continuing our collective Walk to Woodstock.🕺🌼

Lions, and tigers, and bears… oh my! 🐾 It got a little wild at Westwood last week as we hosted a surprise birthday party for our General Manager, Samantha! 🎉 What a fun way to celebrate—filled with laughter, great company, and just a touch of adventure. 🦁🐯🐻

As part of the Live To The Fullest Festival, residents across Cogir managed residences in Canada are joining forces for a unique collective challenge! Over the coming weeks, every step counts toward a shared goal: adding up everyone’s steps to see if, together, we can make it all the way to Woodstock — an iconic symbol of the 1970s 🎶✌️

A motivating, unifying, and high-energy challenge that encourages us to get moving, push ourselves, and truly live every moment to the fullest 💫

Our residents wrapped up a vibrant floor curling season with a fun-filled bonspiel and a delicious luncheon! 🥌✨ It was a wonderful celebration of great games, teamwork, and friendships. Cheers to an amazing season—we can’t wait to do it all again!

🐾💛 Therapy Dog Visit at Westwood 💛🐾
We had some very special visitors brighten our day at Westwood! 🐶✨ Revy and Lacey, our wonderful therapy dogs, stopped by to spend time with the residents—and what a joy it was!
From wagging tails to warm cuddles, these sweet pups brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and comfort to everyone they met. Whether it was gentle pets, quiet companionship, or a playful moment, Revy and Lacey truly made a difference in our residents’ day.
Thank you to these amazing therapy dogs (and their handlers!) for sharing your love and bringing such happiness into our home. We can’t wait for your next visit! 💕🐾

💐🕺💃 Our residents truly danced the night away at our Spring Fling! With live music setting the mood and lots of smiles on the dance floor, it was an evening to remember.
