Our permission chips always serve as a reminder that healing is personal.

In Reiki Restore, each guest is given a permission chip to consciously choose their experience. Placed on “no” to start, where I’ll instead send distance healing with no hands on touch. Or flip the chip over to “yes” to signal that you want hands on reiki healing.

Those that join this class on Zoom, always get distance healing sent their way 🩷

I built Veda to be a safe space, and that importantly includes deciding when and if you’d like hands on touch. You can find these permission chips in the baskets at the top of your mat space.

Welcoming back our mystery book swap, this time with Summer vibes ☀️

Think beach reads, feel-good fiction, stories that transport you, and books perfect for slow mornings, sunny afternoons, or quiet evenings outside.

Here’s how it works:

☀️ Wrap up a book you loved
☀️ Add a few little clues on the outside (without giving it away)
☀️ Add some extra goodies (bookmark, eye masks, stickers, tea etc)
☀️ Drop it off at the studio
☀️ Attend the book swap event

A little surprise, a little sunshine, and a new story to get lost in this Summer.

Book drop off + swap details:

Books should be wrapped + dropped off at the Studio by June 26th. This is so I can check to make sure we have all the books so that the event runs smoothly.

On June 27th, you are invited to the studio from 3-5pm. We will be serving up some Summer drinks, selecting a new book to take home, and enjoying the company of other book lovers in our community.

Our big plants have to take centre stage on Tuesdays so we can get allllll the wall space 😍

Wall yin is one of my favourite practices, the wall helps us move a little deeper into the poses (without feeling like we are going too deep!)

FYI I find this an easier way to practice yin for those of us with back pain.
