When was the last time you did something for the first time? 🤩
I still remember my first after-work paint event.

It was here in Zug, almost a decade ago, when I was still working in the corporate world — long before .

I remember being a little hesitant to go. You know those evenings when you come home from work tired and the last thing you feel like doing is leaving the house again?
But I went.
And I had such a good evening. 😍

I painted, had a drink, enjoyed the apéro, met people and simply did something different. And you know what? I still have the painting today.
It stayed with me — not only the painting, but the feeling of that evening.

I really believe that trying something new, especially during the week, can make such a difference. Sometimes all you need is to break the routine, do something a little outside your comfort zone and give yourself a few hours to recharge.

And this is exactly what .art and I want to offer you this September. ❤️

An After Work Action Painting evening where you can relax, create, have a drink, enjoy some snacks and spend time with friends, your partner, or even come on your own and meet some new people.

No Monday excuse 😜

Why not start the week with something that actually gives you energy?

You thought you were chasing a big career, when somewhere along the way, you realized you were also craving something else: creative expression.

That realization has been part of my own story.

For me, creativity isn’t about becoming an artist or producing something “perfect.” It’s about having space to experiment, move, play, think differently, and reconnect with a part of yourself that can easily get pushed aside by work, expectations, and everyday life.

That’s why we create experiences for both teams and individuals— spaces where creativity becomes something you can actually experience, rather than just talk about.

We have some exciting sessions and events coming up.
Follow along if you’re curious about what happens when we make more room for creativity.

Sometimes, being less productive is exactly what you need to become inspired again😎

For me, the Swiss school year naturally brings structure, work and productivity — both as a mum, a teacher and as the founder of Hands-On Art.
So when summer comes around, I like to ride a different wave.
While my kids are still young, I want to make the most of this time. This summer, that meant taking time to travel, discover Japan and South Korea and simply enjoy being somewhere completely different😍
Because… YOLO😉

Now I’m slowly getting ready for the new season. 🎨
New Hands-On Art workshops are coming up!

I’m excited about what I’ve been planning and can’t wait to share it with you.
The new workshop calendar is already online — have a look through the upcoming dates on my website.
And I’ll be sharing a few things I learned (and remembered) this summer very soon🤓

I hope you’re having a wonderful summer, whatever it looks like for you. 🤍

It has been a bit quiet over here, but here’s something I’d love to share with you 🤍

During a visit to Berlin, I stepped into an immersive museum experience about Vincent van Gogh — and it stayed with me.

I have a real weakness for immersive museums. The combination of moving images and music makes it feel as if you are *inside* the artwork, rather than just observing it.

And if you’re traveling with kids: I can truly recommend it. Mine loved it and learned something new along the way ✨

What touched me most was being reminded that Van Gogh’s life wasn’t all sunshine and roses. He struggled deeply and expressed so much of his pain, emotion, and longing through his art.

Maybe that’s what makes it so powerful.
Art as a space to feel, to process, to transform.

And in a way, that’s exactly what art therapy is about 🤍

Last week’s after-work meditative painting workshop felt truly special — a blend of love and color bombing ❣️

As always, we worked with vibrant, dopamine-boosting colors to lift our mood, while also slowing down through grounding exercises — moving out of our heads and into our hands. A moment to land, to breathe, and to forget the rest of the day.

It turned into a beautiful evening, with equally beautiful artworks. Here’s just a small glimpse of what was created ✨

A huge thanks to all amazing participants! ❤️

what if we didn’t try to control every outcome?

What if we followed instead?

Trusted a little more?
Let things unfold?

A line becomes a shape.
A “mistake” becomes something new.

Art reminds us:
you don’t have to have it all figured out ☝️
Less control.
More flow 😜

Are you flowng with us?
