How is Breast cancer treated today?
There are 3 main treatment options depending on the stage of the disease.
1. Surgery- here, the tumor or tissue is removed through an operation
2. Chemotherapy - drugs are used to killl cancer cells.
3. Radiation and hormonal therapy - can be used in addition to others with aim to prevent cancer from reoccurring.

Modern medicine has advanced so much giving us more hope than before.

What you should know about breast cancer staging.
There are 5 stages of breast cancer.
👉🏻Stage 0 to 2 are early stages. Cancer is small or only in nearby lymph nodes. Highly treatable!
👉🏻Stage 3 and 4 mean cancer has spread to other tissues or organs.
But treatment still helps manage and control it.
NB :Staging is just a roadmap to choose your best treatment plan! and a roadmap to recovery!
So don't delay screening!

Breast cancer is not just a lump! Watch out for these 5 other signs.
1. Skin dimple like orange peel 🍊 .
2. Ni**le inversion- ni**le that turns inward.
3. Abnormal fluid or blood discharge from the ni**les.
4. Unexplained redness/ skin color changes or scaling.
5. Sudden change in breast size or shape.
If you notice any of these changes, don't panic, but get checked by a health professional immediately.

5 daily habits to lower your breast cancer risk!
1.Reduce or stop alcohol consumption completely.
2.Maintain a healthy weight- aim for a BMI between 18 and 25kg/m².
3.Exercise about 30 minutes a day.
4.Breastfeed if you can .
