UBE Minimally Invasive Surgery: Relieve Cervical Spondylosis and Numb Hands Effectively
Recently, Director Lü Hai from the Department of Spinal Surgery at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University treated a middle-aged patient Mr. Zhao. Suffering from chronic cervical spondylosis, Mr. Zhao endured recurring neck and shoulder pain alongside persistent numbness in his left hand. Following short-term postoperative observation and professional nursing care, he was in stable physical condition with satisfactory cervical function recovery on the third postoperative day and got discharged successfully. The minimally invasive incision successfully resolved severe cervical discomfort.
Clinically, UBE cervical spine surgery avoids extensive dissection of cervical soft tissues.
