5 boring things I do to stay lean 🥱

💥 Comment JOIN to get on my method that helps you stay lean all year round - your first week is free!

While it might seem like the summer sprint workouts is my secret weapon, in reality, I’m only training like that for 2-3 months of the year.

The REAL big hitters are the unexciting habits that I stay consistent with all year round. These are what help me to stay consistent with my workouts, maintain an even calorie intake and expenditure, and keep my metabolism high.

Don’t get caught up in the sexy trendy parts of social media - commit to the boring things that ACTUALLY make a difference, and watch how your body transforms - for life.

I’m turning 35 this year! Actually… this WEEK hahaha AHHHH 🤯

Since I’m halfway to 70, I wanted to share 3 rules that I truly live my life by and that I hope will make a difference or impact on you.

They have completely transformed my happiness, my success, my relationships, and who I am as a person ✨

And after spending a lot of my childhood being bullied and wishing I had a different life, I slowly learned that as an adult that your life is in YOUR hands.

You choose how you spend each day, what thoughts are in your head, how you view other people and how you react to situations.

Focus on you and your loved ones, experience AS MUCH as you can, spend the money on things that could change your life and never EVER try to blend in. Be fu***ng weird and wacky because weird and wacky is what makes you, you.

And the sooner you accept and love who you are, the better life looks every single day 💞

SAILING BABES TAKE ON NEW ENGLAND ⛵️

Coming to the end of a very MUCH needed trip together 🫶🏼 We all met while sailing in the Caribbean, and if you’ve ever lived on a sailboat before, you know those bonds run deep (yes like the ocean).

I am so lucky to be able to maintain these friendships, even past life on the high seas. For the first time in a long time, I was able to put my work away and just be fully present with my friends.

So much good food eaten, soooo many laughs, way too many drinks and only a little bit of snoring.

Shoutout to Erin Murphy Cadigan for showing us her hometown and how to cook a lobster boil. And for introducing us to our new fav DJ’s lol. Can’t wait for the next one 💙

“How much weight should I be lifting when I workout?”

👉🏽 Comment ‘JOIN’ to get a free week to the Born to Sweat platform where I help you learn exactly how to train for real, sustainable results - no guessing required.

This is a question I get CONSTANTLY. And two of the biggest mistakes I see women make when choosing weights is:
❌ Basing it off of what the person in the workout video is using OR
❌ Basing it off what feels “safe” instead of what actually challenges them.

While it’s good to have a gauge and goal of what a trainer might be using, you also have no idea of their overall experience, fitness level, capabilities or injuries.

So! Instead of doing that, use these rules of thumb to figure out what is a good weight for you to use, and what will actually challenge you.

THAT’S how you will see change! Save this and use for the next time you workout ⭐️

By the way - in my Born to Sweat videos, I ALWAYS encourage my members to lift heavier as we work through each set but to stay aware of their form.

Because of that, my members see incredible changes in their strength, muscle definition and fat loss! Come join us and see what it’s like. Comment JOIN to start your free week ✨

My first ever “Vampire Facial” at SKIN Clinics | Dermatology and Cosmetic Clinic

I honestly love testing out different skin procedures, especially in my mid 30’s, and I had NEVER done microneedling before! So I decided to go for the holy grail of all microneedling, which was the vampire facial.

I thought I was going to have this crazy red / blood face afterwards, but honestly it was not like that at all. The whole thing was actually super chill and not scary haha, and it only felt like a little sunburnt for a couple days after.

After the microneedling I got a little bit of PRP in my under eyes to help rejuvenate them a little (no, this is not the same as dermal filler), and a re-up on my Botox. And of course I had to walk away with a few extra goods from my favouritess SkinCeuticals

Skincare is such an important thing to me (especially in the sunny climates I live in) and something I would choose to spend money compared to a new purse.

If you’re ever in Calgary or Winnipeg highly highly recommend heading to Skin Clinics. Say hi to my girl Chelsea for me, she is the queen of all treatments!
