August 14, 1974...
The day Famagusta was lost.
The day our entire lives were lost.

52 years and we do not forget but we persist and await the day of return to our City of Famagusta...!

Η μέρα που χάθηκε η Αμμόχωστος.
Η μέρα που χάθηκε όλη μας η ζωή.

52 χρόνια και δεν ξεχνούμε αλλά επιμένουμε και αναμένουμε την ημέρα της επιστροφής στην Πόλη μας, στην Αμμόχωστο μας...!

The EU Parliament, just a few days ago, adopted a report into the sexual violence suffered by Cypriot women during Turkey’s invasion in 1974, that began on July 20, 1974 and led more than 200.000 Cypriots to flee their homes in order to survive.

Thousands missing until today and even more casualties of war with their families suffering till this day.

The pain and suffering of the refugees of Cyprus is still unbearable.

52 years of illegal occupation of Cyprus by Turkey are more than enough.

The refugees of Cyprus never forget and await for the resolution that will bring back freedom and peace to Cyprus.

Το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο, μόλις πριν από λίγες ημέρες, ενέκρινε έκθεση σχετικά με τη σεξουαλική βία που υπέστησαν οι Κύπριες γυναίκες κατά τη διάρκεια της τουρκικής εισβολής το 1974, που ξεκίνησε στις 20 Ιουλίου 1974 και οδήγησε περισσότερους από 200.000 Κύπριους να εγκαταλείψουν τα σπίτια τους για να επιβιώσουν.

Χιλιάδες αγνοούνται μέχρι σήμερα και ακόμη περισσότερα θύματα πολέμου με τις οικογένειές τους να υποφέρουν μέχρι σήμερα.

Ο πόνος και η ταλαιπωρία των προσφύγων της Κύπρου είναι ακόμα αβάσταχτοι.

52 χρόνια παράνομης κατοχής της Κύπρου από την Τουρκία είναι υπεραρκετά.

Οι πρόσφυγες της Κύπρου δεν ξεχνούν ποτέ και περιμένουν την επίλυση που θα φέρει πίσω την ελευθερία και την ειρήνη στην Κύπρο.
