It's true - my online jewelry shop is closing 😯

After twenty-one years, I'm closing this part of the business for good after September 20, 2026.

The news was rather sudden, and I was not entirely prepared.
​
Things have been shifting towards Reiki and energy work since the beginning of the year, and I planned to keep the online jewelry shop. Both are complementary, and it made sense.

Until last week - I'm not even kidding.

New EU packaging regulations that come into effect today have changed my mind.

They're clearly meant for large-scale businesses with massive shipping operations and a team of legal representatives on retainer; not single-employee micro-businesses like mine. After going through what it means for me, it's become very clear: I cannot continue selling online to the EU.

While I can continue selling online in Germany, and will until September 20th, I've decided to focus the website solely on Reiki and energy work after that.

I'll no longer be selling jewelry online, but will sell locally and in person at markets, pop-ups, and studio events in Berlin.

Since twenty-one years of my life are coming to such an abrupt end, I wanted to pen a proper goodbye. This situation with the EU is definitely a big deal, but it's only a small part of a much bigger story for me. This is cruelty 💔

And it can be traumatizing - even if you're able to get out of it directly.

There are situations where the connections persist in the background. Even with healthy distance - you can't always escape it entirely.

This can happen a lot in families and with extended family.

My Reiki practice for today ✨ 🫶🏽✨

Something that I've found meaningful about practicing Reiki is the ability to call in helpful, suportive, and healing energies in situations that seem bigger than me or outside of my immediate control.

And what happened last night at Berlin Pride is one such situation.

When something big happens in the world, I dedicate my daily practice to those events in hopes of bringing support, healing, clarity and resolution.

I'm almost never in the immediate position to deliver that outcome on my own - but I can call in the energy that does.

And that's what I'm doing today for the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
