A human being, at a degree, can be seen as a computer. Like computers, people have hardware – their physical bodies - and software – their way of thinking and outlook, including cultural norms, believes as for what certain things should be like, patterns of behavior, likes and dislikes, abilities, peculiarities of studying and remembering, and so on.
Like computers, people often also have malware – mental programs, which disturb the work of human brain and result in ineffective or malicious behavior. Malware can be seen as fears, consequences of mental traumas, constraining decisions or beliefs, inadequate self-esteem, self-destructive programs and so on.
New mental programs are usually installed under very emotional experience and often function further as clan scenarios.
For example, a woman loses her beloved husband in World War I, her daughter loses her husband in World War II, her granddaughter loses her husband in a divorce.
Or a woman goes through a very painful breaking up with her partner, she feels so bad that shouts angrily “I will never go into a relationship again!”, time passes, the woman forgets about the decision she has made, she feels lonely and would like to enter a happy relationship, but it doesn’t happen.
Or a child who, for example, had an authoritarian mother, who took too much care of him/her, blames the mother in all the bad in his/her life and decides to revenge by hurting her – and destroys the life of the very precious person in her life – the child’s own life.
From the point of view of human consciousness, such behavior doesn’t make any sense, but the subconscious has very strong reasons for that, and, unfortunately, it is the subconscious to decide how people react to stimuli: why we shout instead of explaining and collaboration, why we push away one kind of people and attract another, why we get what we want easily or have to fight for that…
Mental programs “live” in subconscious and influence our lives much more than what we learn, for example, in school or university.
Can subconscious be altered? Can one mental program be deleted and another installed? Yes, but it should be done in the altered state of mind on the level where programs are…
