Honored to contribute to the 16th EFIPP Ultrasound-Guided Hands-On Workshop, organized by the Egyptian Foundation for Interventional Pain Practice (EFIPP) in collaboration with the World Institute of Pain (WIP) – Middle East Section, and hosted at the National Training Institute (NTI), Princess Fatma Academy, Cairo, Egypt.
It was a privilege to participate in this educational and scientific activity focused on advancing ultrasound-guided interventional pain procedures through hands-on training, evidence-based practice, and procedural precision.
During the workshop, we engaged in practical training and academic discussions covering advanced musculoskeletal and pain interventions, including cervical ultrasound anatomy, nerve root imaging, occipital and facet interventions, shoulder procedures, and upper limb nerve entrapment assessment.
I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with distinguished colleagues and physicians committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing the standards of interventional pain medicine in the region.
My sincere appreciation to the organizing committee, faculty members, and participants for the outstanding scientific atmosphere and collaborative exchange of knowledge.
Looking forward to continuing contributions to medical education, ultrasound-guided interventions, and international academic collaboration in pain medicine.
تشرفت بالمساهمة في ورشة العمل السادسة عشرة لـ EFIPP للتدريب العملي الموجّه بالموجات فوق الصوتية (Ultrasound-Guided Hands-On Workshop)، والتي نظمتها المؤسسة المصرية للممارسة التداخلية لعلاج الألم (EFIPP) بالتعاون مع المعهد العالمي للألم (WIP) – قطاع الشرق الأوسط، واستضافها المعهد القومي للتدريب (NTI) – أكاديمية الأميرة فاطمة، القاهرة، مصر.
كان من دواعي اعتزازي المشاركة في هذا النشاط العلمي والتعليمي الذي يهدف إلى تطوير إجراءات علاج الألم التداخلي الموجّه بالموجات فوق الصوتية من خلال التدريب العملي، والممارسة القائمة على الدليل العلمي، وتعزيز الدقة الإجرائية.
تضمنت الورشة تدريبًا عمليًا ونقاشات أكاديمية متقدمة حول تدخلات الجهاز العضلي الهيكلي وعلاج الألم، بما في ذلك تشريح الرقبة بالموجات فوق الصوتية، وتصوير جذور الأعصاب، وتدخلات الأعصاب القذالية والمفاصل الخلفية للفقرات (Facet Interventions)، وإجراءات مفصل الكتف، وتقييم انضغاطات أعصاب الطرف العلوي.
أشعر بالامتنان لهذه الفرصة التي أتاحت التعاون وتبادل الخبرات مع نخبة من الزملاء والأطباء الملتزمين بتحسين نتائج المرضى والارتقاء بمعايير طب الألم التداخلي في المنطقة.
كل الشكر والتقدير للجنة المنظمة، وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وجميع المشاركين على الأجواء العلمية المتميزة وروح التعاون وتبادل المعرفة.
نتطلع دائمًا إلى مواصلة الإسهام في التعليم الطبي، والتدخلات الموجّهة بالموجات فوق الصوتية، والتعاون الأكاديمي الدولي في مجال طب الألم.
