Topical anesthetics are designed for in-clinic procedures—not for self-medication.

Repeated use of benoxinate can mask worsening ocular injury while impairing corneal healing, potentially resulting in:
• Corneal melting
• Infectious keratitis
• Ring-shaped stromal infiltrates
• Permanent visual impairment

Every pharmacist should remember:
🔹 Do not dispense topical anesthetic eye drops for home use.
🔹 Counsel patients on immediate first aid after eye injuries.
🔹 Identify warning signs requiring urgent ophthalmology referral.

Responsible dispensing is an essential component of patient safety.

"الوجع اللي بنسكته بالقطرة... ممكن يكلّفنا البصر."

قطرة بينوكس ليست علاجًا لإصابات العين الناتجة عن اللحام أو دخول الأجسام الغريبة، وإنما مخدر موضعي يُستخدم داخل العيادات وتحت إشراف الطبيب فقط.

قد يختفي الألم... لكن الإصابة تظل موجودة، وقد تزداد سوءًا دون أن تشعر.

👁️ احمِ عينيك بالوقاية، وليس بتخدير الألم.

وجع العين إنذار... مش حاجة نسكتها.
بينوكس... مش علاج.

🤝 شارك البوستر... فقد تكون سببًا في حماية بصر شخص يعمل في اللحام أو الحدادة.

لو بتستخدم بينوكس بعد اللحام عشان الألم يروح، افتكر إن القطرة بتخدر الألم لكنها مش بتعالج الإصابة.

👁️ احمي عينك:
🥽 البس نظارة الوقاية تحت قناع اللحام.
💧 اغسل عينك لو دخلها رايش.
🏥 ولو الوجع شديد أو نظرك اتغير... روح لطبيب عيون فورًا.

بينوكس... مش علاج.
