Another short video for the gladiator knot or the thumbs-up technique with a closer view

This is done after making the initial loop ( C ) by opening the jaw of the needle holder & place it horizontally under the thread then make it vertical & this movement will push the thread aside & allow you to make the throw easily

The Gladiator knot is a reliable & relatively easy choice when you need to maintain tension on the first throw without the suture slipping back
