Have you noticed how often we answer “How are you?” with what we’re doing rather than how we’re feeling?
“I’m busy.”
“I’m tired.”
“I’ve got a lot going on.”
“I’m managing.”
But these responses tell us about our schedules, not our wellbeing.
Many of us become so focused on getting through the day that we forget to check in with ourselves.
We keep showing up.
We keep meeting responsibilities.
We keep moving forward.
And sometimes, we don’t realize how overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or disconnected we feel until our mind and body start asking for attention.
So here’s a gentle reminder today:
✨ Pause for a moment.
Ask yourself: “How am I feeling right now?”
Not what needs to be done next.
Not what everyone expects from you.
Just how you’re feeling.
Awareness may not solve everything, but it is often where healing begin.
