What will you experience at Grief is an Island?
The villa
For five days, this private villa in the heart of Ibiza becomes a space to pause, breathe and be held.
Surrounded by nature, with beautiful spaces to gather and plenty of quiet corners to retreat to, there is room here for whatever you need.
A place to sleep deeply, share meals, have honest conversations, sit by the pool, watch the sunset and simply take your time.
Food & nourishment
Nourishment is an important part of how we care for ourselves through grief.
Our private chef Amir will be preparing hearty, generous meals throughout the retreat, made with love and designed to bring people together around the table.
There will be beautiful food, shared slowly, conversations that wander and the simple pleasure of being nourished without having to think about what comes next.
Private rooms
Each guest has a beautiful private bedroom with its own ensuite, giving you somewhere quiet and completely your own at the end of the day.
Somewhere to sleep, journal, read, rest or simply close the door and have some time to yourself.
Because being together matters, but so does having somewhere to come back to yourself.
Sunset hikes
There will be time to get outside and let Ibiza do some of the holding.
We’ll take sunset walks and hikes through the landscape, allowing our conversations to continue beyond the walls of the villa, or simply walking together without needing to fill the silence.
Sometimes movement, fresh air and a changing horizon can create just enough space to breathe a little differently.
Somatic experiences
Throughout the retreat, we’ll offer somatic experiences designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body and gently receive whatever you need in that moment.
There is no expectation to perform, achieve or push through. These practices are invitations to listen inwardly, soften where you can and allow your body to have a voice in the process of grief.
Yoga, breathwork & morning gatherings
Mornings will begin gently. We’ll gather on the yoga deck for somatic movement, breathwork and practices designed to help you arrive in your body and meet the day at your own pace.
