When we talk about being the “best” version of ourselves, we’re not looking to abandon or reject all the past versions that got us here

We needed those versions to get to where we are today

And what is our “best”? The best that’s possible, realistic or achievable today

I’ll never stop being amazed of the work my clients do in and out of sessions.

And, I’ll always celebrate your wins and progress - however big or small! 👏

Hey, have we met? 👋

Thought it was time to say hi.

I’m Lara, an online therapist for individuals and couples.

My goal is to help people feel more connected to themselves - from rediscovering their spark to feeling more grounded.

Therapy with me is always warm, non-judgemental and personalised to you. So that whatever you’re dealing with, you don’t have to do it alone. 🤍

1 year of Lara Listens 🤍

A year of being a business owner, a year of learning and (most importantly) a year of supporting clients through growth, change and healing 🥰

Thank you to all who have trusted me to be a part of their journey 🙏🏼 I’m so grateful and don’t take it for granted

And if you’ve been considering therapy, I’m always ready for a chat to see if I could be the right fit for your healing journey 📞

Here’s to many more years! 🥂

How much of your self worth is based on something untrue?

So much of therapy is about unpacking beliefs we have about ourselves that aren’t based in fact.

In a society where we’re constantly being sold to and influenced, it’s more important to check yourself (me included!)

And just a reminder, you’re beautiful 💁🏻‍♀️

Where our attention goes, our energy flows.

So what if I told you that you could choose?

A colour walk isn’t just a nice trend 🎨

It’s a perfect example of our brains. What we tell it to find, it will find…

So what will you choose to look for?

Why do I offer a free introductory call?

Your therapist needs to be a good fit for you to make positive, long-lasting change.

That’s why I offer an intro call that’s:
- totally free
- flexible to your schedule
- an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have

I want to make therapy feel as comfortable as possible which is always why I encourage a face-to-face intro before getting started 📞

A little life update from me 🙋🏻‍♀️

The year has been off to a busy start. Been working hard and using my downtime wisely.

Lots of social plans and visitors and still trying to find that post new year balance between fun and health 😅
I’m using social media selectively, curating my algorithm with positivity, humour and inspiration.

I want my own social media presence to be the same for others. If you have anything you’d especially like to see here, just let me know 💓

A reminder about the power of mind over matter.

When we let fear control our brain, we make mistakes, we mess up, we do exactly the thing we’re trying to avoid.

When we encourage ourselves and let that little voice in our head say “you can do this!”, the result is something completely different.

PS this was filmed back at the bottom of the mountain on solid ground 🥲
