// I met Alice Masson in January 2026, “by chance”, in the locker room of my gym .
I simply asked her : “Is it your first day here?”. I didn’t know she was a journalist or that, two months later, she would write an article about me in . 🙋‍♀️
We spoke about my journey, from fashion to Breathwork, about the beginnings, and about how a spiritual practice is absolutely compatible with building a business. Then, at some point, that business goes beyond you. Today, with The Breathe in Paris School®️, what I’ve created doesn’t really belong to me anymore. It’s passed on.
Remember that a simple encounter can open doors you didn’t expect. And that, deep down, it might not be a coincidence !

J’ai rencontré Alice Masson en janvier 2026, “par hasard”, dans les vestiaires de ma salle de sport, . Je lui ai juste demandé : “C’est ton premier jour ici ?”. Je ne savais pas qu’elle était journaliste ou que, deux mois plus t**d, elle écrirait un article sur moi dans . 🙋‍♀️ On a parlé de mon parcours, de la mode au Breathwork, des débuts, et du fait qu’une pratique spirituelle est absolument compatible avec la construction d’un business. Puis, à un moment, ce business te dépasse. Aujourd’hui, avec The Breathe in Paris School®️, ce que j’ai créé ne m’appartient plus vraiment. Ça se transmet.

// Breathe in. Then let it go. 🌿 Letting go doesn’t mean giving up or losing control, it just means you stop forcing what’s clearly not flowing. It’s that moment where you realize not everything is yours to fix, manage, or figure out right now. You can let go of needing an answer right away, of replaying a conversation in your head, of trying to control how someone feels about you, of holding onto something that’s already shifting or ending. So instead of spiraling or overthinking, you come back to your body, you take a breath, you unclench your jaw, you drop your shoulders, and you give yourself a second to just… be. 👉🏻 The more you try to control everything, the more drained you feel. And weirdly, it’s when you loosen your grip a little that things start to fall into place. You know this already 💁🏼‍♀️

// Respirez. Puis laissez aller. 🌿 Lâcher prise ne veut pas dire abandonner ni perdre le contrôle, ça veut simplement dire arrêter de forcer là où ça ne coule plus. C’est ce moment où vous réalisez que tout n’est pas à vous de réparer, de gérer ou de comprendre tout de suite. Vous pouvez lâcher le besoin d’avoir une réponse immédiate, de rejouer une conversation en boucle dans votre tête, de vouloir contrôler ce que quelqu’un ressent pour vous, de vous accrocher à quelque chose qui est déjà en train de changer ou de se terminer. Alors au lieu de suranalyser, vous revenez dans votre corps, vous respirez, vous desserrez la mâchoire, vous relâchez les épaules, et vous vous accordez juste un instant pour être là. 👉🏻 Plus vous essayez de tout contrôler, plus vous vous épuisez. Et souvent, c’est au moment où vous relâchez un peu que les choses commencent à se remettre en place. Vous le savez déjà 💁🏼‍♀️

// I feel like sharing this. You might remember, I had a biopsy last month on my breast (all good 🙏), but I was left with a large hematoma that was supposed to take a while to go away. I went to my chiropractor last week and realized he could actually work on it using microcurrents, something I had never even heard of before. It helps with drainage, reduces swelling, supports healing, and can improve the appearance of scars. I had already done this on a previous scar from last year’s breast surgery and saw a huge difference, and I’m already seeing results after just one session. ✨ And of course, I’m also supporting my body in my own way with Breathwork and daily Reiki… techniques I’ve been doing for years and that I’m deeply grateful for. I thought maybe this information could help someone 👐🏼

Tu te rappelles peut-être que j’ai eu une biopsie le mois dernier sur mon sein (tout va bien 🙏), mais il restait un gros hématome qui était censé mettre du temps à disparaître. Je suis allée voir mon chiropracteur la semaine dernière et j’ai découvert qu’il pouvait travailler dessus avec des micro-courants, quelque chose dont je n’avais jamais entendu parler. Cela aide à drainer, réduire le gonflement, soutenir la guérison et améliorer l’aspect des cicatrices. Je l’avais déjà fait sur une ancienne cicatrice après mon chirurgie sur mon sein l’année dernière et j’avais vu une vraie différence, et là je vois déjà des résultats après une seule séance. ✨ Et bien sûr, j’accompagne aussi mon corps à ma façon avec le Breathwork et le Reiki quotidien… des pratiques que je fais depuis des années et pour lesquelles je suis profondément reconnaissante. I was invited on stage with journalist Sofia Viganò alongside naturopath at the Wellness & Beauty Days to talk about wellbeing, daily habits, and the practices that truly support us. Of course the breath! 🙏🏻 We explored how everything begins within. Élise spoke about the importance of taking care of our health before symptoms appear, by cultivating our inner terrain. I shared how Breathwork can help reconnect with the body in a very real, physical way. The breath is a simple tool to regulate, come back to yourself, and create change from the inside out. Two different paths, one common thread: when you take care of what’s happening inside, everything else begins to shift.

Élise a évoqué l’importance de prendre soin de sa santé avant même l’apparition des symptômes, en cultivant son terrain intérieur. De mon côté, j’ai partagé comment le Breathwork peut aider à se reconnecter au corps de manière très concrète et physique. La respiration est un outil simple pour réguler, revenir à soi et créer un changement de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur. Deux parcours différents, un fil commun : lorsque l’on prend soin de ce qui se passe à l’intérieur, tout le reste commence à évoluer.

Last night I went to a gallery opening for Chloé Perrin and I felt really proud. I’ve known her since she was a kid, I saw her grow up, and she was one of the first to trust me when I brought Breathwork to Paris in 2018, before anyone really knew what it was. And now she opens her own gallery. The exhibition is by , with works from the early 2000s to now, and titles like “Respiro Lento” and “Respiro Profondo”… everything felt slow, almost like the work was breathing. I saw old friends from my fashion days, people I really love, and it just felt good to be together again, after all these years, all these different paths. Chloé’s parents… I’ve known them for over 20 years, and I still remember Sally telling me in 2005, when I was burnt out, “Susan, you need to be careful.” She saw something I couldn’t see then. I was really happy last night. It was warm, simple, and I love Paris.

Hier soir, je suis allée au vernissage de la galerie de Chloé Perrin et je me suis sentie vraiment fière d’elle. Je la connais depuis qu’elle est enfant, je l’ai vue grandir, et elle a été l’une des premières à me faire confiance quand j’ai introduit le Breathwork à Paris en 2018, avant même que ce soit quelque chose dont on parlait. Et aujourd’hui, elle ouvre sa propre galerie. L’exposition est de , avec des œuvres du début des années 2000 à aujourd’hui, et des titres comme “Respiro Lento” et “Respiro Profondo”… tout semblait lent, presque comme si les œuvres respiraient. J’ai aussi retrouvé des amis de mes années mode, des personnes que j’aime vraiment, et ça faisait du bien d’être réunis à nouveau, après toutes ces années et ces chemins différents. Les parents de Chloé… je les connais depuis plus de 20 ans, et je me souviens encore qu’en 2005, quand j’étais en plein burn-out, Sally m’avait dit : « Susan, tu dois faire attention. » Elle avait vu quelque chose que je ne voyais pas encore. J’étais vraiment heureuse hier soir. C’était doux, simple, et j’aime Paris.

// March 30, 2026. When journalist Irene Coltrinari interviewed me for this article in , we spoke about something that has always been at the center of my work: creating emotion. From art directing magazines, to producing photo shoots and styling women, I’ve always been in the business of shaping how people feel. That was on the outside. Today, I do it differently, through the body, through the breath, bringing people closer to their inner world and to their emotions in a direct and tangible way. This article focuses on my work as a Breathwork pioneer and on my holistic method Breathe in Paris®, and on how Breathwork is becoming one of the emerging movements in wellbeing, using something as simple as the breath to regulate, release, and reconnect. Seeing this conversation take place in a fashion magazine that has always been about image feels natural now, because if anything, what we feel is becoming the new reference… and maybe, the new luxury. 🌿

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing, and it can be learned by anyone ✨ It is practiced by placing the hands and is based on the idea that a life force energy circulates in the body. Nothing is forced and nothing is directed, you set an intention and allow the energy to flow where it is needed 🤍 Over time, it becomes more than a practice, it becomes a way of living. I integrate it into everything I do, in my sessions, in my work, and in my life 🙏🏼 Today, I’m offering to teach it to you. My next training will take place on April 11–12, 2026 via Zoom in French. // On March 28–29, 2026, I was invited to guide two Breathe in Paris® sessions at ’s first Vogue Wellness & Beauty Days, and to go on stage to speak about the breath and inner beauty. It was magical! But the moment that really hit me was when I picked up the April 2026 issue and I saw my name and photo inside. 💁🏼‍♀️ I used to work there in the 90s with … my name was already in the magazine back then, just a different version of me. Coming back like this, through something I built from such a personal place, really gets me emotional. This isn’t “showing off”, this is “showing up”… and moments like this deserve to be acknowledged… don’t you agree? I’m honestly a little in awe. 🙉 My path has changed a lot, I followed something that felt right without always knowing exactly where it would lead… but I did know what I wanted. And yes, now I want to be on the cover of Vogue. Any Vogue works for me 🥰

Mais le moment qui m’a vraiment marquée, ça a été de feuilleter le numéro d’avril 2026 et de voir mon nom et ma photo à l’intérieur. 💁🏼‍♀️ J’y ai travaillé dans les années 90 avec .. mon nom était déjà dans le magazine à l’époque, juste une autre version de moi. Revenir aujourd’hui de cette manière, à travers quelque chose que j’ai construit à partir d’un endroit aussi personnel, me touche beaucoup. Ce n’est pas “se montrer”, c’est “être là”… et ces moments méritent d’être reconnus… vous ne trouvez pas ? Je suis vraiment un peu impressionnée. 🙉 Mon chemin a beaucoup évolué, j’ai suivi quelque chose qui me semblait juste sans toujours savoir exactement où cela me mènerait… mais je savais ce que je voulais. Et oui, maintenant j’ai envie d’être en couverture de Vogue. N’importe lequel me va 🥰 Et si ça vous parle d’une manière ou d’une autre, alors encore mieux !
