During pregnancy, a baby bump can suddenly become a topic of public conversation.

Unsolicited comments, hands reaching out without asking, opinions on bump size, weight gain, or guessing the baby’s gender based on how you’re carrying… so many pregnant women know this all too well.

It’s as if normal personal boundaries around your body just vanish overnight.

Yet, being pregnant never waives your right to privacy, consent, or peace of mind.

Behind that bump, there is still a whole person with feelings, a story, vulnerabilities, and boundaries. 🤍

So here’s a simple reminder:

A baby bump is not an automatic invitation for uninvited opinions or unwanted touch.

What about you? What’s one comment you received while pregnant that you wish you’d never heard? 💬

Just because you have been told that pregnancy is wonderful does not mean you are not allowed to feel afraid.

Pregnancy can be beautiful.
And overwhelming too.
Deeply wanted.
And deeply unsettling.

Being pregnant means making space for a life that is arriving, without always realizing in advance just how much it can shake your body and your emotions.

There is your body changing, sometimes quickly, sometimes more slowly, sometimes not in the way you expected.
A body you thought you knew, and that you now have to learn to listen to differently, to live in differently.

And then there are the emotions, which do not always move in the same direction.

Joy and fear.
Calm and worry.
The desire to move forward… and the need to slow down.

You can deeply long for that baby and at the same time feel fragile in the face of everything that is coming.

Learning to live with these mixed emotions takes time, and that is normal.

This pregnancy is yours.
Move through it at your own pace.

Be gentle with yourself: your body and your emotions deserve just as much care as the baby growing inside you. ❣️

“You’re breastfeeding too much.” “You didn’t breastfeed long enough.” “You’re feeding on demand”…

We are often so quick to comment, measure, compare, and say what a mother should have done, could have done, or would have done better. As if breastfeeding could be judged, evaluated, or done in one “right” way, for the “right” amount of time, or at the “right” pace.

But the truth is, every breastfeeding journey is personal. It is a story shaped by choices, sometimes by limitations, by the body, by emotions, and also by what a mother wants. A story that belongs to her alone.

So maybe it is time to shift the way we look at it. To stop constantly questioning these decisions and to give every woman the space to do things in the way that feels right for her.

All of these choices deserve respect, not criticism. All of these women deserve support, not judgment.

And while this post is dedicated to mothers who have breastfed, no matter for how long, we of course are not forgetting all those who do not breastfeed. We do not celebrate some mothers more than others. We celebrate all mothers for the mothers they are, whatever way they choose or are able to feed their baby.

And you, what is the comment about your breastfeeding journey that stayed with you the most? 💬

You are not born a mother, you become one.

It is a phrase we hear often, and yet it is deeply true.

Becoming a mother does not happen in a single day. It is not an instant switch, nor something that feels obvious in the same way for everyone. For some, things seem to come naturally. For others, it takes more time, more adjustment, more trial and error.

And all of that is normal.

You learn by doing, by trying, by sometimes getting it wrong, and by starting again in a different way. And through all of that, something begins to take shape, often without you even realizing it: your own way of becoming a mother.

So no, you do not need to have everything figured out, mastered, or anticipated.
You are learning, day by day, how to become a mother, and you are already doing the best you can.

Going on vacation with kids often means moving the logistics of everyday life into a completely new environment.

We know how intense those moments can be, but they become even harder when public spaces make parents feel like they are in the way.

Between the lack of family-friendly facilities, the sighs on public transportation, and the side-eye at restaurants, families can end up feeling this constant pressure to make themselves as small as possible so they don’t disturb anyone.

What if we changed the way we think?

Children are part of society. Parents have the right to show up, travel, take up space, and live their lives without apologizing for existing or for needing help.

Let’s replace judgment with support, and create spaces that are actually adapted to families.

Share this post to spread the message and support the parents around you this summer.

Here are women who are free to live their lives as they choose, without being forced to give anything up just because they are mothers.

A mother is a woman. A woman free to make her own choices.

Only you get to define the balance between everything that makes you who you are and what drives you every day.

Without ever doubting the wonderful mother you are.

Send this to a woman who needs to be reminded of this today. 💌

When should you do it? What should you do? Where should you do it? It’s not always easy to remember the important appointments during pregnancy, or to keep track of where you are in weeks of amenorrhea and weeks of pregnancy.

So we thought a simple pregnancy calendar, bringing all the key information together in one post, could help!

👉🏻 You can find all this information in the May app, in the “Pregnancy follow-up calendar: 1st trimester” guides, as well as the 2nd and 3rd trimester ones, and in your free in-app calendar.

👉🏻 Save this post so you can come back to it later, and feel free to send it to a pregnant woman in your life! 💌

When your baby cries, it is easy to put pressure on yourself to understand exactly why right away.

Hunger, tiredness, discomfort… as if you had to find the right answer immediately.
But in reality, that is not what matters most.

What matters is not always getting it right, but trying, adjusting, and responding as best you can with what you have in that moment.

Little by little, you learn to understand your baby.
And your baby learns something essential too: that you are there, that you are doing your best, that you keep trying, that sometimes you get it wrong and try again, and that they can trust you. That is how the bond is built, day after day.

So truly, do not put unnecessary pressure on yourself.
Your presence already means so much. 💛

And you, how do you experience those moments? 💬

Postpartum comes with its fair share of classic questions. But some of these questions, at best, miss the point, and at worst, can make a new parent start doubting themselves.

These questions are usually not asked with bad intentions. But when you think about it, it can be helpful to rethink the typical things we’ve always heard, and said, when visiting a new mother.

It’s not about finding the perfect sentence or banning certain phrases. It’s simply about making as much space as possible for the new parent to speak, listening, not judging, avoiding unsolicited advice, and adapting to what they truly need.

Sometimes, changing one question is enough to change the whole conversation.

What about you, what would you have liked to hear postpartum? Tell us in the comments 💬
