We brought together passionate minds around one shared goal: advancing the way we understand and treat hernia. From live surgeries and real-time dissections to interactive questions and dynamic discussions, every moment was designed to push boundaries and actively engage everyone in the room.

The energy, the exchanges, and the depth of the conversations made this first edition truly special. We hope each participant leaves with new insights to elevate their daily practice.

We are proud to introduce the first members of the RIVES Congress faculty, internationally recognised experts who embody excellence in parietal surgery and surgical education:

Victor Radu (University of Medicine, Bucharest, Romania) ; Miguel Ángel García Ureña (Hospital del Henares, Madrid, Spain) ; Filip Muysoms (ArFICo Surgical, Belgium) ; Frederik Berrevoet (University Hospital of Ghent, Belgium).

These faculty members will be at the heart of the RIVES experience, guiding discussions, performing live cadaveric procedures, and engaging directly with participants throughout the congress.
