✨ A Thank You from Albyn Medical Practice ✨

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our patients for their patience, kindness and understanding following our recent system migration.

We are pleased to say that the migration itself went smoothly, and patient information transferred successfully. However, as with any new system, there is a significant learning curve, and our team is continuing to learn more every day as we become familiar with new processes and ways of working.

At present, some areas of our usual work have had to take a back seat while we focus on the day-to-day running of the practice and ensuring patients continue to receive the care and support they need. Please be assured that we are working hard to return to normal service as quickly as possible.

We understand that this can sometimes be frustrating, and we ask for your continued patience as our knowledge and confidence with the new system grows. Our staff are doing their very best, and we greatly appreciate the support and understanding that so many of you have shown.

📧 Online Prescription Service Update
Unfortunately, the rollout of the online prescription service has not gone entirely as planned. We have been made aware that some patients have not received the email invitations that were due to be sent. This issue is outwith the practice's control.
If you have not yet received your email, please contact us at:
📩 [email protected]
Please include your full name, date of birth and the email address you would like linked to your account, and we will arrange for the information to be resent.

Thank you once again for your patience, understanding and support while we navigate this transition. Your kindness towards our team is very much appreciated.

Today's the day...

Our new clinical software changes today. What does this mean for our patients? For a short period of time, we will remain unable to assist with routine queries while our team work through the backlog of data. We will be unable to book appointments until we have created the appointment system, which may take a couple of days. We will continue providing an Urgent Care service for those who require acute medical assistance urgently.

Our team may take longer than usual to handle your query while they navigate a new interface and new processes. Please be patient with them.

Our phone lines will close this afternoon between 12-2pm to allow our team some respite and catch up time.

Thank you for your understanding and support. It does mean a lot.

**LIMITED SERVICE PROVISION**

Good morning everyone, we hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

Today marks the beginning of our "read-only" period, which also marks the beginning of our Urgent Care Only service for the next two weeks.

During this time, we will be unable to process routine prescription requests, provide test results, view new and incoming correspondence from i.e. secondary care, handle eConsults, provide sicklines/MED3s, book routine appointments and more.
