**SOFTWARE UPDATE - PRESCRIPTIONS**

Many of you will be aware that we are due to change our clinical software at the end of July which will impact our ability to process repeat prescriptions.

If you are on repeat medication and a prescription will be due renewal between 24th July and 31st July, please order this today as we will be unable to provide you with a prescription during the dates listed above. We will accept and process early requests.

Our repeat ordering line will be closed from Friday 24th July and will not re-open until Friday 31st July. Our online prescription service will also be shut off during this time.

We will still process urgent and acute scripts during this time, but routine requests will not be processed. Should you run out of medication during the dates listed above, please visit your usual community pharmacy to obtain an emergency supply.

Did you know there are now walk-in centres available within NHS Grampian?

If you live within Aberdeen city, you can visit the walk-in centre for on-the-day minor health issues that are acute. The walk-in clinic is based within the Health Village on Frederick Street, and is open Mon-Fri.

Our new GP Walk-In Centres are for people who feel they need to see a doctor or nurse today for a new health problem that is not life-threatening or an emergency.

**UPCOMING CHANGES**

We would like to inform our patients that we will be changing our clinical software system at the end of July. This is part of a wider, national programme affecting GP practices across Scotland to modernise systems and support future patient care. We want to reassure you that we are working carefully to manage this transition as safely and smoothly as possible for our practice. During the migration period, our systems will be significantly impacted, and we expect disruption to routine services including appointments, repeat prescriptions, MED3 (sick lines), and other administrative requests for several days.

We kindly ask all patients to plan ahead where possible, particularly by ordering repeat medications in advance of this period. The practice will remain open, and we will continue to provide care for urgent medical needs; however, our capacity will be very limited, and some patients may be asked to contact us again once the migration is complete. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work to improve our services.

We will continue sharing updates as we near our migration and communicate with patients via SMS where possible. Please only rely on information shared directly by the Practice.
