We're proud to be creating a dedicated training space that will be shared by Northwind Healthcare Ltd and Events First Aid Scotland, designed to deliver high-quality training across a wide range of industries.

From healthcare and first aid to workplace safety and compliance, this new facility will provide an engaging environment where individuals and organisations can develop the knowledge and confidence to keep people safe.

Seizures that occur during sleep can be frightening and often go unnoticed. Knowing how to reduce risk and improve safety can make a huge difference for people living with nocturnal epilepsy and their families.

Here are 3 simple ways to stay safer at night:

1️⃣ Create a safe sleeping environment – keep the area around the bed clear and consider safety pillows or padded headboards.
2️⃣ Use monitoring or alert systems – seizure alarms, smart watches, or monitors can help alert someone if a seizure occurs.
3️⃣ Tell someone & have a plan – make sure family or housemates know what to do and where emergency medication is kept.
