I can't believe my last proper post about this class was 6 months ago! Time flies by so quickly it only feels like a few months have passed!

These wonderful ladies show up week in and week out and it makes me so happy to share the wonders of Pilates with them each week. Seeing the progressions from when we started together back in November last year, developing exercises and working through the layers into intermediate level has been so fun!

I have even managed to sort of align the mats... 🤣

Thanks for being such amazing clients and long may it continue 💞

💫Beginner Pilates Class 💫 starting on Thursday this week in Stonehaven @ Sea Cadets. A gentle introduction to Pilates, working on the fundamentals.

I will be running for 7 weeks initially. You can book onto individual sessions as you go or buy a 5 class pass to be used over the 7 weeks.

Monday Memories!

One of these pictures popped up in memories today and it reminded me of my post natal journey with both babies and how my love for pilates formed! (Form not the greatest looking back...but these were the super early days!) 😬

Slowing down with the baby and controlling my movement to recover and re-connect with my new body was what it was all about! Sometimes the little ones let me participate and sometimes they didn't... but I showed up and tried all the same.Then when they were old enough I could sneak out for evening classes 🙂

It was a special time 💛

Pilates really helped me build up core strength to return to playing Netball safely (especially after my second baby after an injury to my ankle with a fall during pregancy and a post natal blood clot). Along with that it helped me reduce pain I had been feeling in my left hip from all of that left side lying! Game changing really and I will never take movement for granted!

From Humble Beginnings to a Full House in Peterculter!

I have been reflecting on this class today. I started this session with just three people in the first class (one of which was my mum...😂) For the past few weeks we have been at 10 strong with multiples on the waitlist!

This class holds a truly special place in my heart as it was the first public class I started after qualifying. Every week, I’m greeted by such a lovely, supportive group of people who make teaching an absolute pleasure. We were all agreeing last night that the time just flies by!

The Power of Perseverance

It has taken time and a lot of heart to build this. Between an unplanned location change and starting from scratch building a client base there were plenty of moments I wondered if I could make it work.

For those who know me, you know that self-advertising and social media isn’t my favorite thing! I definitely underestimated the effort required behind the scenes when I first started up.

A Heartfelt Thank You

That’s why I am so incredibly grateful for the power of word-of-mouth. To my regulars: thank you for your unwavering consistency and for sharing your experience with friends. It’s because of you that this class is thriving. Hearing your feedback last night—that you truly enjoy the class and feel relaxed and better for it—is the best reward I could ask for.

💫New Stonehaven Class Alert 💫

Hi everyone!

If you’ve been thinking about trying Pilates but didn’t know where to begin, I have some exciting news. I’m launching a brand new Beginner Pilates session starting on Thursday, May 7th at 6pm at the Sea Cadets building in Stonehaven.

We’ll focus on the fundamentals, core engagement, alignment, and breathing in a supportive, no-pressure environment. It’s the perfect way to build strength and flexibility from the ground up.

The first session on May 7th is free to new clients and is now bookable via the app. (Details on how to access below).

Just for additional info ; I also run a Mixed Level class at 7pm on Thursday evenings at the same venue! I layer the exercises up so if you are just starting out and this time suits you better you can still take it at your own pace and level. Progressions are offered along with more dynamic movements with varied intensity so this session is also suitable for those with experience at more of an intermediate level. Again all bookable via the app!

Updated reformer timetable for April now after a small holiday.

Early morning Tuesdays I have had to stop unfortunately due to diary clashes, thank you so much to all of the early birds that came consistently to those super early classes, keep it up 💛
