Kate & Duncan got married in April, and I wanted to share a little of what they said about working together, it really does mean a lot.
"Kim Petrie was an absolute delight to work with in the lead up to our wedding.
She guided us through the process, was very knowledgeable and worked with us to create a ceremony that was perfect for us!
There were many considerations that go into creating the ceremony, and Kim was helpful with suggestions of options and potential traditions that we may wish to incorporate into the day.
By the time the wedding day came around, Kim was a brilliant and familiar personality to both of us, helping to keep any last minute nerves at bay, and she took the time to make sure she spoke with the bride and groom the morning of our ceremony, which was a lovely touch in making us feel at ease.
Kim ensured everything was in place for a seamless, enjoyable and relaxed ceremony."
For anyone who isn't familiar, a humanist ceremony is a non-religious ceremony that's completely personal to the couple.
There's no set script or structure to follow, which means every single ceremony I write is different, built entirely around the couple's own story, values, and relationship.
In Scotland, humanist weddings are legally recognised, so you get all the flexibility of a completely personalised ceremony while being completely legal too!
