Sometimes, at the end of life, the greatest gift we can give someone is space. 🤍
Space to rest.
Space to be quiet.
Space to sleep.
Space to withdraw into themselves.
Space to take their journey at their own pace.
Giving someone space doesn't mean abandoning them or leaving them alone.
It means being close enough that they know you are there, while gently allowing them to have the peace they need.
You don't always need to talk.
You don't always need to touch.
You don't always need to encourage them to eat, drink or stay awake.
Sometimes, simply sitting beside them quietly, holding their hand when they want it, or letting them know “I'm here” is enough.
At the end of life, love can be found in the quiet moments too.
Sometimes love means staying…
without asking them to stay. 🕊️🤍

Sometimes you have to do whats best to get you through the moment.
This is my new wheels, to get me through the moment.
It wont be a long term thing, but it means I save my energy and in less pain to be able to do my rehab for example.
What have you had to do to get you through a moment?

Empty Seat - When you are struggling, remember those people that were there for you....
Dont count on the empty seats.....presuming they will be there. Dont break that heart.....again.
