🌟 Staff Appreciation Day 🌟

This evening we had a lovely Staff Appreciation Day, celebrating our amazing team and all the hard work they put in every single day ❤️

We had lots of lovely pressies, keyrings, desserts and snacks, and even played some fun games together! 🎁🍰🍿🎲 It was a great evening filled with lots of laughs and good company.

We are so proud of the dedication, commitment and hard work shown by every member of staff — we truly have a great team! 👏🥰

A huge thank you to Beaumont for our wonderful evening and for helping make it so special 💕

We also enjoyed a delicious Chinese from the lovely Mizo in Ballymena 🥡❤️ Thank you so much for the fantastic food and for kindly adding some extra dishes for free — such a thoughtful gesture!

And a big shout-out to Boots for donating some lovely samples for our staff. It was so kind of you and very much appreciated. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so enjoyable, but most importantly, thank you to our fantastic staff. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️🌟

What a wonderful afternoon we had! 🎶💃

We had the pleasure of being entertained by the fabulous Andrew McMurdie music today and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! There was plenty of singing, lots of dancing and plenty of smiles ❤️

It had been four years since Andrew was last with us but we certainly won’t be waiting that long again! We absolutely loved having him back and can’t wait to see him again 🎤😊

We also sang a very special belated Happy Birthday to our lovely Isa, who celebrated her 80th birthday yesterday! 🎂🎉

A fresh coat of paint has made such a difference, giving the building a bright, welcoming new look for our residents, families and visitors.

Our residents had a fantastic time this week enjoying fun, laughter, and friendly competition! 🎉

From exciting rounds of bingo to bowling and a fun target game, there were plenty of smiles, and laughter along the way. 💙

Activities like these help keep minds active, encourage gentle movement, and most importantly, bring everyone together for lots of laughter and friendship.

Well done to all our winners, and thank you to everyone who joined in!

Today we were treated to a fantastic show-and-tell session and quiz led by Roy, the son of one of our wonderful residents.

Roy recently took part in the Tour de France, and it was fascinating to hear about his experience. He shared stories, memorabilia, and behind-the-scenes insights before testing everyone's knowledge with a fun quiz.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the morning, asking lots of questions and celebrating Roy's incredible achievement. A big thank you to Roy for taking the time to visit and make the day so special! 🚴💛

This week, our residents enjoyed creating a beautiful mosaic sunshine collage together. ☀️

Using colourful pieces and plenty of creativity, everyone worked as a team to bring a little sunshine indoors. Activities like these encourage conversation, support fine motor skills, and provide a wonderful opportunity for self-expression.

We're so proud of the finished masterpiece—it has certainly brightened our day! 🌞💛
