If this is hitting a nerve, you're probably very good at supporting other people.

But when was the last time someone supported you?

My 1-2-1 mindfulness programme starts with an 8-week journey where we create space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and understand what's really going on beneath the surface.

Many people come to mindfulness thinking they need to feel calmer. They’re looking for the solution.

What they often discover is that they need permission to stop carrying everything on their own. The classic “I’m fine!” comes to mind…

If you're ready to invest in yourself for a change, send me a DM with "I'm ready" and let's chat 💛

🌾 Friday Pause 🌾

Take a moment to stop scrolling, stop rushing and simply pay focus on the poppies in the field.

Allow yourself these two minutes, a gift to yourself 🤍

And if you’re enjoying these Friday pauses, keep an eye out for something new coming in July. I’ll be launching my membership which will create a space for you to practice mindfulness easily on your terms.

For now, take a deep breath in, sigh it out and come for a walk with me 🌺

We often think we’re overwhelmed because of the *last thing* that happened.

The email.
The comment.
The traffic.
The missed meeting (me yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️)

But often it’s not that one thing at all.

It’s all of the worries, responsibilities, expectations, disappointments and “I’ll deal with that later” moments we’ve been carrying around for weeks, months and possibly years.

Eventually, even one more drop is enough to make the cup overflow.

Mindfulness isn’t about pretending life isn’t full. It’s about creating moments to pause, notice what’s in your cup and gently let go of what no longer needs your energy.

An overflowing cup feels stressful, a full cup feels joyful 💫

What might you need to let go of today?

✋🏻 STOP ✋🏻

Look at your week ahead.

What is going to drain you? Sap you of energy?

Can you say no to it? Seriously, will the world really end if you choose to say no to something that will drain you this week?

I’m not saying that you need to walk away from all responsibilities. Sometimes when we take a step back and look at our diaries we can see that there are one or two things that we can choose not to do and it will help preserve our energy for the things we really can’t say no to.

Let me know what you’re saying “No” to this week 👇🏼

💫 Friday Pause 💫

When was the last time you did absolutely nothing for a couple of minutes?!

That means…
📱 no scrolling
📝 no planning
🤔 no problem solving
🏎️ no trying to get somewhere else

Just watching raindrops fall

So simple but a lot of us feel uncomfortable doing nothing in modern society and then wonder why we feel exhausted! The irony is that the very thing we think we don’t have time for is often the thing we need most - a pause 🤍

For now, take 2 minutes.

Watch the raindrops.

See what you notice.

And if you want more, you know where I am 💫

🧠 June - Beginners Mind 🧠

When was the last time you did something differently?

This month in class we’re exploring *Beginner’s Mind* which is one of the core attitudes of mindfulness. It’s about approaching familiar experiences with fresh eyes, curiosity and openness rather than running on autopilot.

So much of life is spent repeating the same routines, taking the same paths and assuming we already know what’s there. Beginner’s Mind invites us to pause and ask:

💭 What might I notice if I looked again?
💭 What might I discover if I tried a different approach?
💭 What am I missing because I’ve stopped paying attention?

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be exploring how cultivating curiosity can help us become more present, more engaged and perhaps even find a little more joy in everyday life.

If you’d like to explore Beginner’s Mind with us, I’d love to welcome you to class. Send me a message for details or book your place through the link in my bio 🌿

Disclaimer: I do care 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions about mindfulness is that it’s about analysing your past.

It’s not.

That’s therapy.

Mindfulness can be deeply therapeutic, but the practice itself is much simpler.

It’s about noticing this moment.

☕️ The cup of tea that’s still warm.
🦢 The sound of the birds outside.
🌱 The feeling of your feet on the ground.
💬 The conversation you’re having right now.

The breath you take right now…you won’t take it again.

Most of us spend our lives somewhere else.

Replaying what happened last week.
Worrying about what might happen tomorrow.
Mentally living in places that don’t actually exist.

Meanwhile, today passes us by.

It’s completely natural. We’re brought up with constant questions about our future. What are you doing this weekend? Any holidays? What’s the 5 year plan?

Mindfulness isn’t about pretending problems don’t exist. And it isn’t about no longer wanting to achieve things in the future.

It’s about learning how to stop abandoning the present moment so you can actually experience your life while it’s happening.

Because this moment only happens once.

If you are stuck in cycles of overthinking, rumination or constant worry, send me a DM. I’d love to show you how mindfulness can help 🤍

🥵 Feeling frazzled?

Hot weather, endless to do lists, constantly being needed by everyone around you…

It’s no wonder your nervous system is running hot! 🔥

This week’s Friday meditation is an invitation to cool things down.

🌊 take 2️⃣ minutes
🌊 listen with 🎧 if you can
🌊 give yourself permission to stop and take this time

Notice how you feel before and after…

Imagine how different life could feel if you gave yourself moments like this every week, not just when you remember that you need them or an algorithm pops it in front of you!

Drop a 🤍 if you’re taking some time out for yourself today

🌲 You weren’t designed for constant noise and pressure.

Since making woodland walks non-negotiable, I’ve noticed:
✨ emotional release
✨ more presence
✨ actual JOY again

Nature heals in ways we’ve forgotten how to talk about.

When was the last time you spent time in nature without your phone? Go out today, even if it’s just for 5 minutes. Don’t take a photo. Don’t listen to a podcast. Do take it all in!
