I have often said to one of my running clients that in the days following a massage, she would be running like a gazelle.
Whilst this is an over-exaggerated claim, the benefits of massage treatment to athletes (and non-athletes) cannot be underestimated massage treatment helps to stimulate nerve receptors, loosens fascia & muscle tissue and increases blood flow to make weary, heavy or leaden legs feel energised and aid increased performance.
