🏅 The Grange Care Home Olympics – Week 3 🏅

Our Olympic fun has continued with two exciting events – Ring Toss and Bean Bag Toss! 🎯

Ring Toss
Residents showed fantastic focus, coordination and determination as they aimed for the targets. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another and celebrating every successful throw. The activity brought lots of smiles, laughter and friendly competition.

Bean Bag Toss
The excitement carried on with our Bean Bag Toss challenge! Residents enjoyed testing their aim while improving hand-eye coordination, concentration and confidence. Every participant gave it their best effort, making it another fun-filled Olympic event.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and thank you to our amazing staff for their support and encouragement. We are so proud of all our residents for embracing the Olympic spirit! 💙🏅

There were lots of smiles, cuddles, and happy moments at The Grange today as our residents enjoyed spending time with our adorable four-legged visitor, Loki. 🐶❤️

Loki brought so much joy, comfort, and companionship to everyone he met. From gentle cuddles to wagging tails and happy conversations, it was wonderful to see the positive impact he had on our residents’ wellbeing.

Visits like these encourage social interaction, reduce feelings of loneliness, and create meaningful moments that brighten everyone’s day.

A big thank you to Loki for making so many people smile—we can’t wait to welcome you back soon! 🐾

🏅 The Grange Care Home Olympics – Week 2 Staff 100m Race 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our Olympic celebrations continued with a fun and energetic Staff 100m Race! It was fantastic to see our team getting involved, bringing lots of excitement, laughter and team spirit to the day.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed cheering on the staff and supporting every participant from the sidelines. The atmosphere was full of smiles, encouragement and friendly competition, making it a memorable event for everyone.

Congratulations to our winning staff members, who were proudly presented with medals and trophies in recognition of their fantastic performances. 🏆🥇

A huge thank you to all of our amazing staff and residents for making another successful Olympic event. We can’t wait for the next challenge!

💙 Words of Wisdom from Our Residents at The Grange 💙

Today, our residents shared their wonderful advice for the younger generation, drawing on a lifetime of experience, kindness, laughter, and wisdom.

From “Be kind” and “Enjoy life while you’re young” to “Choose wisely” and “Keep smiling,” every message reminds us that some of life’s greatest lessons come from those who have lived it.

We also invited our team members to join in and share their own advice, creating meaningful conversations and lots of smiles throughout the day.

Thank you to all of our amazing residents for sharing your thoughts and inspiring us with your wisdom. ❤️

🏅 The Grange Olympics Have Begun! 🎈

The Olympic spirit has arrived at The Grange, and our residents have had a fantastic start with our first event – Balloon Volleyball! 💙

There was plenty of laughter, smiles, friendly competition, and teamwork as everyone joined in to keep the balloon in the air. Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage gentle exercise, improve coordination, and most importantly, bring joy and connection to our residents.

Sometimes family may not be able to celebrate on the exact day, but here at The Grange, we’re one big family and we never miss a special moment.

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating David’s incredible 90th birthday with cake, smiles, laughter, and wonderful company. Seeing his happy smile made the day extra special.
