“I’m fine. I’m just tired.”
I hear versions of this all the time.
You’re getting through the day.
You’re working.
Looking after everyone.
Doing the shopping.
Maybe even exercising.
So technically, yes — you’re functioning.
But functioning and feeling well aren’t necessarily the same thing.
Perhaps you wake up tired despite sleeping.
Your digestion isn’t quite right.
Your energy disappears halfway through the afternoon.
You’ve stopped looking forward to things because everything feels like more effort than it should.
Or perhaps the simplest way you can describe it is:
“I just haven’t felt like myself for a while.”
That sentence matters.
At The Boughton Clinic, I’m interested in the whole picture — your health history, food, sleep, movement, stress, environment and the point at which things started to change.
Sometimes there isn’t one enormous thing to fix.
Sometimes we simply need to start joining the dots.
You don’t need to change your whole life. You just need a place to begin.
