🌿 Observational drawing ✏️🍃

Using the world around us as inspiration and slowing down to really notice the little details.

We’re also creating our woodland spaces using recycled, donated and Facebook Marketplace finds — giving old items a new purpose and creating unique areas for children to play, explore and learn.
It doesn’t have to be new or expensive to be magical. 🤎🌿

Sometimes, the most unconventional spaces create the most magical learning opportunities. 🌿

A fallen tree becomes a mountain, a road, a bridge or anything a child’s imagination can dream up. 🚒🚑

That’s the beauty of outdoor, child-led play — nature provides the backdrop, and children create the story. 🤎

🐞🌿 Our Bug Hotel is ready! 🌿🐞

During our sessions, children will be able to help add to and develop the bug hotel, collecting natural materials and deciding what might make the perfect little home for our mini-beasts. 🐌🕷️🐞As we care learn and look after nature.

We can add sticks, bark, pinecones, leaves, bamboo, stones and other natural treasures we discover around the Nook. 🌿

It will be lovely to watch it grow over time and see who comes to visit! 🔎✨

A simple space for children to explore, investigate, create and care for the little creatures that share our outdoor space. 💚

Play. Explore. Connect. 🌿

A beautiful morning spent creating play spaces 🌿✨

There’s still lots to do, but the vision is finally starting to come together, and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s taking shape. 🤍

Slowly creating a space for little ones to play, explore and connect with nature. 🌱

🌿 A NEW LOGO. A NEW LOCATION. A NEW NAME. 🌿

Wildflowers is entering a brand-new chapter. 🌼

Finding the perfect location for Wildflowers has been a journey. I’ve searched, asked, waited, tried different spaces and, at times, wondered if I’d ever find somewhere that truly felt right.

But I finally found it. 🤎

I’ve secured my own outdoor space — somewhere Wildflowers can truly grow, with trees, open areas to explore and the freedom to dream up endless possibilities.

This isn’t just somewhere I hire for a session. It’s my own space. 🌿
And what makes it even more special is that I can’t wait to share it with the wider community, creating opportunities for families to come together, slow down, make memories and connect with nature.

With such a big change in location, it only felt right to give Wildflowers a whole new identity too — a new name, a new logo and a fresh brand inspired by the feel of our new surroundings.

🍂 Coming this autumn…

A place for families to play, explore and connect with nature.

Different themes each session.
Lots of exploring.
Little adventures.

There’s been a lot of hard work, uncertainty and patience behind this next step, but I finally feel like Wildflowers has found its place.✨️

A little behind-the-scenes update from Wildflowers... 🌿

The new Wildflowers space is slowly starting to come together, and although it's not quite ready to open yet, we're making progress.

We've been collecting pallets, plant pots, crates, logs, a mud kitchen and all sorts of reclaimed treasures that will be transformed into a beautiful, nature-led play space. There's also a lovely meadow area to explore right on our doorstep 🌸

We're creating a place where children can explore, imagine, create and connect with nature at their own pace. Rather than rushing to open, we're taking the time to get everything just right so it becomes a truly special space for every family who visits. 🌿

Thank you for being so patient while I've been a little quieter than usual. Your support means a lot, I can't wait to share more.

Wildflowers is created with community in mind, so your ideas really do matter. If you could choose, what would you love to see in our nature play area?

Pop your suggestions in the comments—we'd love to hear them! 🌼

✨ Something exciting is growing... ✨

If you've noticed things have been a little quieter on the Wildflowers page recently, it's because there's been so much happening behind the scenes.

Over the last few weeks I've been trying to navigate an exciting new chapter, and I'm so happy to finally share that, with the support of Councillor Steve Jones, Wildflowers will soon be moving to a beautiful new outdoor location. 🌿

There's still plenty of work to do before it's ready – clearing, tidying the space and creating a safe, welcoming environment for families.

This isn't just a new location; it's the beginning of an exciting new chapter and I can't wait to share it with you all.✨️

Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes updates and, when the time is right, revealing Wildflowers' fresh new look too. 💚

I can't wait to welcome you to our new home soon.

A little reminder of what Wildflowers is all about... 🌿💚
Whether we're bug hunting, creating nature art, exploring sensory play or simply spending time together, every Wildflowers session is designed to encourage curiosity, confidence and a love of the great outdoors.

Even while taking a little break, I can't help noticing the beauty and wonder that nature offers. It's a reminder that opportunities for learning, exploring and connecting with nature are all around us.

One of the things I love most about Wildflowers is encouraging children and families to slow down, look closely and appreciate the world around them. You don't need a planned activity or special equipment – sometimes the best adventures start with simply noticing.

What nature have you spotted this week?🌼🌿🌳
