Thank you for those that encouraged me to create a gofundme page to keep The Happy Bump Club going ❤️
I've created a page in the hope that any local businesses or funding groups maybe able to help us along the way.
Our aim is to promote positive pregnancy, by providing a place to come together and share information, tips and advice. My intention has always been to ensure everyone, no matter what their background, has access to this service, which is why I provide it for free.
Unfortunately, our funding has dried up, this is the first time in 5 years that we've had no money in our bank account. We will continue to apply for more funding but until we are successful, we will need to pause our sessions.
If anyone is able to spare a little cash to add to the pot, it might mean we can afford room hire for one more session, or keep our website running.
The research is out there that the first 5 years of a child's life is fundamental to shaping the adults we become.
We want to provide access to services during pregnancy to ensure families are kept informed, know their choices, and connect through peer support, creating bonds with baby that last a lifetime. For more information on this see the Centre for Early Childhood...

Here is a list of our current running costs:
Room hire - £24/session
Community Bank Account - £4.25/month
Website running - £130/year
Email domain- £90/year
Public liability insurance- £85/year
Refreshments - £20/year
Marketing materials - £50/year
£700 will keep us running for one year, however every little will help and we can keep our sessions going with just a small amount.
